THERE’S snow stopping Kylie Minogue as she leads the race for this year’s Christmas No1.
And all the signs point towards the Aussie pop princess landing her first chart-topping single in over two decades.

My chart mole has revealed her song Xmas had sold 24,242 copies by the end of the weekend, while Last Christmas by Wham!, at No2, had racked up 17,390.
The festive tune’s success is down to fans snapping up physical copies, as well as it being prioritised when people ask their Alexa devices for Christmas songs as it is exclusive to streaming service Amazon Music.
Wham! have had the festive No1 for the past two years, and it returned to the top spot on Friday – so I’m sure the race will get tighter and tighter as we get closer to the end of the week.
Although her album Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) topped the charts last week, she hasn’t had a No1 single since Slow, way back in 2003.
If she does manage it, it will be her eighth No1 – putting her on a par with Oasis, The Rolling Stones and Justin Bieber.
No pressure, then . . .
Last month, the singer revealed she dreamed of being invited to a good old-fashioned office Christmas party.
Her new festive album even has a track dedicated to the often messy annual do.
On the innuendo-filled song, Office Party, a sultry Kylie can be heard saying: “You know, I’ve never really been to one, but I hear they are lots of fun. So tell me, can we go to one?”
When Bizarre’s Jack questions if Kylie has really never been to an office do via her record label, or if it’s simply artistic licence to make a good song, the chart-topper laughs: “I’ve not! It’s coming from my perspective as I wrote it.
“We’ve had office parties but it’s backstage somewhere. I’ve never worked in an office so it’s kind of like a fantasy for me.”
