CHRIS Martin stunned wedding guests at a country barn by secretly turning up to serenade a couple on their big day.
James and Abbie Hotchkiss slow-danced while the Coldplay frontman, 48, belted out soft rock ballad All My Love for their first dance as newlyweds on Saturday.
Footage showed the stunned crowd admiring the couple’s first dance while Chris perched on a piano in a grey beanie and black sweatshirt at the wedding in Rugeley, Staffs.
The “forever grateful” couple explained the stunt came about after the groom’s mum contacted Chris’s team hoping for a congratulatory message.
But the star decided to take things to a whole other level by offering to show up on the day, with the couple in on the unforgettable surprise.
Groom James Hotchkiss told The Sun: “After my mother contacted Chris’s team in hopes for a congratulatory message for our special day, but instead to be given this opportunity is staggering.
“We ensured to keep it secret as a surprise for our guests.
“We would like to thank Chris and his team for making our already special day, even more special.
“We know our 15 month old daughter was captivated by his song
“We are forever grateful.”
The heartwarming moment has racked up thousands views online, with social media users hoping to book Chris themselves.
All My Love is the third single from Coldplay’s 2024 album Moon Music.
Chris told Rolling Stone last year: “All My Love is really the final Coldplay single.
“I’m so grateful for this song. I don’t know if and when it will connect with who or not, but for me, it’s a really important song.
“It’s like, after everything we’ve been through, you have all my love.”
The video has gone viral on TikTok, with one person writing underneath it: “This is my dream! Why is nobody reacting?!?!”
Another penned: “OMG. Just magic for them.”
“Chris Martin is such an amazing person,” said a third.
“This is so sweet, how lovely,” added a fourth.
While a fifth said: “That was so beautiful.”
And a sixth penned: “Oh my god this is so cute he’s so sweet.”
This comes after the viral Coldplay Kiss Cam incident from July 2025.
At one of the band’s gigs back in the summer, tech CEO Andy Byron and his Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot were caught embracing on the big screen.
The pair looked stunned when they realised they were being filmed, before quickly ducking away.
This then led to the band’s frontman Chris joking they were “having an affair or just very shy”.
The clip went viral before both executives resigned from their company, Astronomer, and their affair was revealed.
