Lily Allen Criticized by Madeline as Natalie Tippett Denies Affair with David Harbour

LILY Allen has been slammed by the real-life Madeline she wrote about in the songs on her West End Girl album.

Madeline AKA Natalie Tippett has denied a three-year affair with David Harbour after Lily’s tell-all album revealed her open marriage with the Stranger Things actor.

In a series of Instagram posts shared on Sunday, shortly after Lily’s performance on SNL, Natalie denied claims of a long-term affair with the singer’s ex-husband David.

She also said how she has felt “extremely violated” by the way she has been portrayed by Lily in the songs which are on her breakup album.

Natalie shared three slides to her Instagram stories where she began by penning: “I was hoping not to speak on this, but I am tired of this false narrative being pushed and circulated.”

She explained: “This was such a marginal part of my life, but it’s now turned into a major disruption.”

The next slide read: “I did not have a three year affair with anyone.

“I’m unsure why this person wants so badly to pit people against me or create this narrative that we both know is false based on the actual messages that I have saved between us.

“The same ones that have now been referenced in a song without my consent.”

She continued: “I don’t weaponise women against women for the behaviour of men, especially not in an open relationship.

“I’m wishing her all the success, money, healing and happiness and whatever else she’s seeking through this.”

Natalie, who is a single mother, then explained how she is “aware of the repercussions speaking out” may cause.

She then spoke about “having to watch someone profit off painful lies”.

“I’m a human being not a character someone created,” she added.

Lily and David split up last December, with it was later reported he’d had a three-year affair.

The eye-watering details of her open marriage and split from actor David, were then seemingly laid bare in the 14-song album back in October.

On the album, Lily took aim at David and claimed how he allegedly bedded a woman called “Madeline”.

It was soon revealed that “Madeline” is Natalie.

The track Madeline, from Lily’s album, is written as a letter to the woman David had an affair with.

“How long has it been going on? Is it just sex or is there emotion?” Lily sings at one point.

And in the song Tennis, Lily croons:  “So I read your text, and now I regret it.

“I can’t get my head round how you’ve been playing tennis. If it was just sex I wouldn’t be jealous

“You won’t play with me and who the f*** is Madeline?”
