MELISSA McCarthy looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet this week before hosting Saturday Night Live.
The Gilmore Girls actress, 55, went along to NYC with the rest of SNL’s line up to the Natural History Museum Gala.
Her other half, Ben Falcone, came along for the event as well looking extremely dapper.
Melissa wore a floor length glittering gold boycon dress, decked out head to toe in shimmering sequins.
She beamed in front of the cameras as her dress shone under the venue’s lights.
Letting the dress speak for itself, Melissa swept her hair up and out of the way in a neat bun.
To tie in the gold theme, the star finished the fit off with a pair of small gold hoops, gold heels and a metallic gold handbag.
Meanwhile Ben rocked up to the carpet wearing a brown velvet suit and matching dark dress shoes.
The rich tones complimented Melissa’s outfit to perfection as they stood on the carpet together, arm in arm.
Ben even added a brown velvet bow tie around his neck, ever the gentleman.
Melissa has been pushing back against Ozempic claims after sharing parts of weight loss journey with the public.
The talent is reported to have shed over 6.5 stone so far through only natural means.
In a 2023 interview with PEOPLE magazine, Melissa explained that she once tried all all liquid diet and would never do it again.
“I’d never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time.”
Over time, she began being less strict with herself and opted to work to lose weight in a way that better aligned with how her body felt.
“I finally said [to myself], “Oh, for God’s sake, stop worrying about it,” and it may be the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Melissa is best known for her prominent role in Gilmore Girls as witty chef Sookie St James, cast alongside show-leads Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Lauren Graham (Lorelai).
The hit series debuted in 2000 and has become a much-loved show all over the world, loved for its cozy vibes and autumnal setting.
Aside from living life in Stars Hollow, Melissa has also dabbled in comedy and film acting, landing roles in Bridesmaids (2011), The Heat (2013), and The Boss (2016).
Today she wears many hats performing a mixture of acting roles, voice over work and production activities through her company, On the Day Productions.
