Chris Brown has been arrested in Manchester over a bottle attack at a London nightclub.
Met Police detectives arrested the US star, 36, at 2am at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, after learning he had flown into the city by private jet hours earlier.
Brown has been held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, Central London, in February 2023
He has been taken into custody and is thought to have been taken to a local police station for questioning.
The Met told The Sun: ‘A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
‘He has been taken into custody where he remains.
‘The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023.

In April 2021 music producer Diaw alleged that the rapper hit him over the head with a bottle in the nightclub attack.
The unnamed man claimed to The Sun that he was bottled before then being punched and kicked as he lay on the ground.
He claims that Chris ‘launched the assault’ at The Tape club in London’s Mayfair on February 19.
Chris was allegedly at the club with his entourage as he spent time in London during his UK tour dates.
The alleged victim told the publication of the alleged incident: ‘He hit me over the head two or three times.
