My Chemical Romance have announced two surprise shows at Wembley Stadium – the band’s first UK shows in four years.
The American EMO rockers will perform at the London venue in 2026 after adding the dates to their Long Live The Black Parade Tour, originally announced last year as an eleven date tour of north America.
They will now perform additional shows in Mexico City and London, with the Wembley gigs expected to take place next summer between July 10th and 11th.
British fans discovered the band will perform in the capital city in a post shared across its official social media channels on Monday morning.
Tickets will go on sale from 10:00am on Friday August 15, with the UK shows their first since 2022, when the band staged shows initially cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic in Milton Keynes and Warrington.
My Chemical Romance, comprised of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bass guitarist Mikey Way, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero and lead guitarist Ray Toro, are widely considered to be one of the most influential bands of the 2000s.

Over the course of the decade they released four albums, with their last – Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys – selling over a million copies globally following its release in 2010.
The group disbanded in 2013, but reunited for a one-off show in 2019 and subsequently announced a reunion tour to take place the following year, only for the sweeping coronavirus pandemic to push it back for a further two years.
After returning to the stage in 2022, they released The Foundations of Decay, their first new song since 2014.
On Sunday evening, Wembley Stadium’s official X account preempted the announcement by sharing a cryptic post of the venue’s iconic arch illuminated in red neon.
Last year, the band confirmed it would celebrate the anniversary of career-defining 2006 rock opera The Black Parade with a series of north American shows.
However they suffered tragedy in November when drummer Bob Bryer was found dead at his Tennessee home, resulting in the band playing only two shows that year.
The US leg of their current kicked off July 11 in Seattle and concludes on September 13 in Tampa, Florida.
Along the way it will also include shows in San Francisco; Los Angeles; Arlington, Texas; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Philadelphia; Toronto; Chicago and Boston.

The band will travel to Mexico City for two shows on February 13 and 14 2026 before flying to London for two final shows later in the year.
Each date features a different opener, from veterans like Alice Cooper and Devo to alternative rock contemporaries like Evanescence and Thursday, as well as newer talent, like 100 Gecs and Wallows.
The Black Parade cemented the band’s shift from mainstays of the EMO scene to mainstream recognition and turned them into one of the most inventive bands of the 21st century.
