Nina Dobrev Flaunts ‘Revenge Body’ in Tiny Bikini Post-Split from Shaun White

Newly single Nina Dobrev looked stronger than ever as she soaked up the sun on a tropical Thanksgiving escape, just months after her devastating split from former fiancé Shaun White.

The 36-year-old actress was photographed enjoying a carefree beach day with friends in Jalisco, Mexico, where she showcased her insanely toned ‘revenge body’ in a tiny striped bikini.

With a colorful umbrella in one hand and a coffee in the other, the Vampire Diaries alum appeared relaxed and radiant as she strolled along the sand, laughing with pals and cooling off in the surf.

Dobrev, who has been quietly healing from her September breakup, seemed to embrace the holiday reset, splashing in the waves and sharing lighthearted moments with a female friend as the pair jogged along the water’s edge.

Her sculpted abs and long, athletic frame were front and center as she moved effortlessly through the beachside sunshine.

The Mexican getaway comes after news broke in early September that she and Olympic snowboarder Shaun White had ended their five-year romance and called off their engagement.

Sources at the time described the actress as ‘devastated.’

White and Dobrev first began dating during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

He proposed last October with a five-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, a moment fans believed signaled wedding bells ahead.

But according to insiders, their split stemmed from disagreements about their future family plans.

‘She is devastated. There was one reason: She wanted a family and wanted to get married – and he didn’t,’ one insider claimed to People.

A second source pushed back on the narrative, insisting ‘it wasn’t just one-sided,’ saying both ‘wanted marriage and kids.’

A third insider maintained: ‘They both wanted marriage and children and were making plans to have a life together.’

Another source told Us Weekly there was zero bad blood between the pair.

‘They were very loyal to each other. Any online speculation that suggests otherwise is ridiculous,’ the insider said, adding again that Dobrev was crushed by the end of the relationship. 

In October, Dobrev addressed the swirling romance rumors between her and Zac Efron after they were seen having a blast on an Italian getaway with pals. 

At the time, a source told the Daily Mail: ‘Zac and Nina might be hanging out on a yacht, having fun, getting along but they aren’t dating, they aren’t looking to get together, so the rumors of something more just don’t currently exist.

‘Nina is looking to unwind and just have fun and deal with life post break up, but that doesn’t mean she is going to land in Zac’s arms.’

The insider continued, ‘Zac is a nice guy, and they are friendly and that is all that it is, don’t get your Dofron relationship nicknames out just yet.’

While at LAX, she responded to a question asking if there was anything to the speculation by shaking her head and laughing. 

When asked directly by TMZ, ‘You’re just mates?’, Dobrev simply replied with, ‘Yeah.’ 

Dobrev also expressed that she was doing ‘good’ following her public breakup with White. 

‘You know what, I’m excited for the future and the only thing that is guaranteed is change,’ the actress added.

On September 11, it was revealed that Dobrev and White had called off their engagement and split after five years together. 

The two stars were last publicly seen together on August 31 as they held hands while out in Los Angeles.

At the time, an insider talked to the Daily Mail and gave insight into Dobrev and White’s recent split – including their different focuses.

The source claimed, ‘Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics, he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that.

‘Nina was on board but also very interested in seeing where her acting career was going to go, as that was and is very important to her.’

The insider added, ‘Shaun has done some acting but has focused on being an entrepreneur after his snowboarding career finished up, and he was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life.

‘As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.’

In October of last year, she revealed White popped the question by writing: ‘RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé.’ 

Meanwhile, White took to his social media to proudly declare: ‘She said YES!’ 

Photos showed the moment White dropped to one knee to ask for Dobrev’s hand in marriage as she cupped her mouth in shock. 

Dobrev has dated several celebrities over the years, including her The Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder, Glen Powell, Derek Hough and Austin Stowell. 

Meanwhile White’s dating history includes a rumored romance with Lindsay Lohan and model Bar Refaeli as well as Phantogram frontwoman Sarah Barthel.
