Diddy Pleads to Lawyer in Netflix Doc Teaser: ‘We’re Losing’

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs made a desperate call to his legal team in the second teaser for the new four-part docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which premieres this Tuesday on Netflix.

In the 50-second preview, the incarcerated 56-year-old is holed up at the Park Hyatt hotel in Midtown Manhattan on September 10, 2024 – six days before his arrest on sex-trafficking charges in the lobby following a grand jury indictment.

‘We have to find somebody that’ll work with us that has dealt in the dirtiest of dirty business,’ Combs pleads on the phone.

‘We’re losing.’

The candid, never-before-seen footage was obtained by the disgraced rap mogul’s longtime rival Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, who served as executive producer on The Reckoning.

‘What they consider pre-existing beef for 20 years is me being uncomfortable with him suggesting that he takes me shopping,’ the 50-year-old rapper explained on Good Morning America Monday.

‘Or I looked at it like, it was like a tester. Like, maybe you’ll come play with me type of thing, right? And it’s not personal.’

In one stunning scene, Combs could be seen glad-handing with supportive fans at a restaurant in his native Harlem before asking his team for hand sanitizer in the SUV.

‘I’ve been out in the streets amongst the people. Yeah, I got to take a bath,’ the three-time Grammy winner scoffed on a hot mic.

‘Like, just like the amount of people that I’m coming in contact with, like, that’s what I have to do. You know what I’m saying? It’s like 150 hugs!’

Jackson – who’s donating all proceeds to ‘victims of sexual assault and rape’ – told GMA: ‘It shows you his character. What’s the odds that you would do that in front of the camera like that? That’s one of the moments where he forgot he was on tape.’

Combs is currently serving his 50-month sentence for violating the Mann Act (two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution) at the low-security Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, NJ.

Director Alexandria Stapleton interviewed two of the jurors, who helped acquit the single father-of-seven from sex-trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges that could have put him in prison for life.

Juror #75 described Combs and his ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Fine as ‘two people in love,’ while Juror #160 defended: ‘Domestic violence wasn’t one of the charges.’

The Closer to God rapper was defiant only until CNN leaked a video of him in May 2024 violently assaulting the 39-year-old singer at the InterContinental Century City back in 2016.

Fine (born Ventura) was only 19 when the then 36-year-old Combs signed her to Bad Boy Records in 2005, and they reportedly dated between 2007 and 2018.

The hip-hop star quickly settled her lawsuit alleging rape, abuse, and sex trafficking for an undisclosed amount over a year ago.
