David Tennant and Lookalike Daughter Olive, 14, Attend Paddington: The Musical Opening

David Tennant made a rare appearance with daughter Olive as they attended the opening night of Paddington: The Musical at London’s Savoy Theatre on Sunday.

The Doctor Who star and father-of-five, 54, cut a stylish figure as he hit the red carpet in a plaid overcoat which teamed with a cable knit sweater and smart trousers.

Sporting a pair of trendy glasses he completed the look with comfy trainers and beamed as he posed proudly alongside his daughter.

Olive, 14, who has followed in her famous father’s footsteps with a string of acting roles under her belt, looked lovely in a navy shirt and mini skirt.

She completed the look with black cowboy boots and wore her beautiful blonde tresses in loose curls.

David also shares Wilfred, 12; Doris, 10; and five-year-old Birdie, with his actress wife Georgia, 40, as well as 23-year-old son Ty from her previous relationship.

Olive made her film debut in 2021’s Belfast opposite Dame Judi Dench and Jamie Dornan before going on star in TV series Avoidance with Romesh Ranganathan.

Paddington: The Musical features music from McFly’s Tom Fletcher, and tells the story of the small bear from Peru as he lands in London where a chance encounter with the Brown family leads to him finding a new home.

It comes after David’s wife Georgia was forced to contact the police after receiving more vile death threats on social media, just weeks after a stalker offered a reward for her murder.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories  with snaps of the distressing messages that saw her branded a ‘dirty w****’ who deserved to ‘die for good’.

Georgia, who has been married to the actor since 2011, with whom she shares five children, was also referred to as the ‘ex wife of David Tennant’.

In other messages she was cruelly called ‘disgusting’ before being told to ‘return to the streets’ where she came from.

Alongside screenshots of the messages Georgia tagged the Metropolitan Police and Instagram in a desperate bid for them to intervene.

In September, Georgia revealed she has a stalker who she claims offered a reward on social media for her murder and reached out to Facebook, as well as its owner Mark Zuckerberg, to ask if action can be taken.

Meanwhile Paddington Bear has declared his iconic blue duffle coat as being ‘in vogue’ while sharing fashion and style advice in a new interview.

The loveable character and British institution, who recently made his West End debut in his own musical, after 29 book and three film appearances, took time away from the stage to chat with British Vogue in the Royal Suite of London’s Savoy Hotel.

As well as deconstructing his outfit, the glossy magazine lauded the loveable bear as the poster boy for ‘immigrants making good’  following his move to London from darkest Peru.

In a clip shared to Instagram Paddington was asked about his opinion of this season’s fashions, to which he replied: ‘Being winter, everyone is wearing coats and hats.’

‘I was told that British designers think duffle coats are very much in vogue, which I hear is a very good thing to be’.

When it comes to British style Paddington’s said due to the UK’s weather, he loved raincoats, umbrellas and wellington boots, which he branded both practical and stylish.

Meanwhile the magazine praised the character for being ‘inclusive, culturally diverse and accepting’.

For any fashion lovers hoping to replicate Paddington’s style he later went on to reveal just where he picked up both his unique look.

‘Well, my hat is very special because it belonged to the explorer Montgomery Clyde. He came to Peru a long time ago and was very kind to my Aunt Lucy and Uncle Pastuzo,’

‘So when I came to London, I was hoping to find him. And my coat belonged to [Paddington’s adoptive father] Mr Brown, then [adoptive brother] Jonathan and then they kindly gave it to me’.
