James Tobin has announced the arrival of his first child, sharing the joyful news with fans in a touching post on Instagram.
The much loved Channel Seven presenter, 45, revealed he and his wife Farrah have welcomed a baby girl named Tilda Tobin and posted a series of intimate hospital photos to celebrate the milestone.
In the first image, newborn Tilda is seen lying on a soft white towel in the hospital bassinet, dressed in a tiny white baby tee with her legs curled up and her delicate fingers folded neatly across her chest.
She had a small hospital identification band on her ankle as she slept soundly on fresh linen.
Another photo captures James in a heartfelt skin to skin moment with his daughter.
The Sunrise star beams widely while lying shirtless in the hospital bed, with Tilda resting her cheek against his chest and wrapped in a pastel striped hospital blanket.

The proud new dad looks completely smitten as he cradles his daughter.
A third image shows Farrah gently holding Tilda close, resting a protective hand on the back of her baby’s head as the newborn gazes ahead with bright, curious eyes.
‘Our little girl, Tilda Tobin,’ James wrote alongside a red heart emoji.
The post was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from TV colleagues and celebrity friends.
‘Congratulations you two. She’s absolutely beautiful,’ wrote Natalie Barr.
Jess Rowe added, ‘Oh congratulations to you all. Welcome to the world darling Tilda.’
Kylie Gillies chimed in with, ‘Best news update ever. So happy for your little fam.’

It caps off a whirlwind chapter for the couple, who married in October 2024 during a charming countryside ceremony at the Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory.
The pair, who began dating in 2021, have kept much of their relationship private, choosing to share only select glimpses with fans.
At the time of their engagement, James acknowledged how important that privacy was.
‘A lot of my life is lived out on TV, but I have also kept some things private because, well, not everything needs to be out there,’ he said.
Now, the couple begin their next chapter as first time parents, settling in at home with baby Tilda and embracing life as a family of three.
