Bruce Willis’ wife of 17 years, Emma Heming Willis, has shared a post praising her husband’s confidence.
The model, 47, revealed her spouse, 70, has no issue with her wearing heels around him – despite her towering over him in the footwear.
Emma shared the fun tidbit with fans as she posted two undated throwback images of her with Bruce – with the 5’10” model standing inches taller than her 6’0″ husband as she stepped out in high heels.
‘You ever hear about those kinda guys who don’t want their ladies wearing heels so they don’t look short? Yeah, Bruce is not that guy,’ she wrote as she interacted with her nearly one million followers.
The two, who tied the knot in December 2009, share daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
The Sixth Sense star, who is battling dementia, also shares adult daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore.

Bruce’s family revealed in 2022 that the actor had been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that causes a person to lose communication skills. By February 2023, his family confirmed it had progressed into frontotemporal dementia (FTD)—a degenerative brain disease that impacts speech, behavior, and cognitive function.
Amid Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis, Emma has become his caretaker.
And she reflects on the life-altering experience in a book, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path, due out in September.
In July the mother-of-two documented the start of her recording session for her audiobook.
Sharing a selfie in the recording studio, she wrote on Instagram: ‘Day 1 of 4 in the recording booth for The Unexpected Journey complete ✔️
‘I’ve lived with these words in my head for so long, and today I spoke them out loud for the very first time.
‘I could hardly get through page 1, the dedication page, without crying.
‘And as I continued reading, one thought kept circling in the back of my mind… I can’t believe this is the subject I’ve had to become an expert on.’
She concluded, ‘It’s heartbreaking. And yet I’m so grateful to share what I’ve learned in the hope that it supports another caregiver on their journey.’

Also in July, she shared a video discussing stepping outside of her comfort zone to promote her literary effort.
‘Writing the book really spoke to the introvert in me, but the promotion side of it goes against every cell and grain in my body,’ she admitted.
Emma elaborated in the caption, ‘I’ve been feeling some trepidation about stepping out to promote this book. Public speaking and being forward-facing don’t come naturally to me.
‘I know it might not seem that way, but the truth is, this is me stepping way out of my comfort zone. Still, when you care deeply about something – when you know your story, tools, lived experience, and the lessons you’ve learned might help someone else, you speak up.
‘Because the causes I care about are bigger than me. And the call to support others is louder than my fear.
‘This book isn’t just mine, it’s for all of us walking this road. The Unexpected Journey is coming September 9th, (link in bio) and I can’t wait to share more with you.’
