She’s the Australian heiress that’s in line to inherit a billion dollar fortune.

So it’s no surprise that Francesca Packer looked absolutely fabulous as she stepped out in diamonds and a designer ensemble for dinner at Mimi’s in Sydney’s Coogee on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old was hard to miss in red and white floral trousers from Dolce & Gabbana and a matching robe.

She showed off her cleavage in a tight black bodysuit with a plunging neckline and accessorised with an emerald green purse and matching pumps.

Francesca’s hair was tied back in a tight pony and she added some bling with lavish diamond earrings.

Back in March, the heiress made headlines after it was reported that she was still dating the controversial wellness entrepreneur, despite claims they had split.

The pair began dating last year, confirming their romance in December after they were spotted sharing a kiss and cuddling on the deck of a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.

Francesca ‘fell head over heels’ for the divorced father and even ‘confided to friends her desire to start a family’ with him.

However, in March, The Daily Telegraph reported Francesca and Bates had split in February – around the same time reports emerged claiming he was being chased by wealthy investors for $15million.

Yet just a week later, same publication reported the couple were still together, and that Francesca had swept Bates, away to her swanky Darlinghurst apartment at The Horizon, after he failed to pay rent at his Bondi Beach penthouse over Christmas.

Bates is the CEO of wellness brands Aurum+ and Aquamamma and the founder of 7 Trinity Biotech.

Aurum+ claims to be a ‘a clinically-proven solution that treats and prevents mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression’, while Aquamamma is a ‘healthy hydration solution’ for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Bates’ business acumen has been celebrated in the pages of the Australian Financial Review’s annual list of successful young businesspeople – but lately he has come under heavy criticism from his own investors and customers.

According to the AFR, Bates is being chased by a series of ‘high net worth’ investors who want their money back, his businesses’ websites have mysteriously disappeared and customers are in uproar on his social media pages.

Bates – who dressed as a cowboy at Francesca’s Barbie-themed birthday bash last year – reportedly received a total of about $15million from at least 15 different Australian investors for Aurum+ since 2016.

But the shares in his companies are either registered to Bates himself, or to other businesses he controls, rather than those who have plunged their money into his enterprises, the Australian Financial Review reported.

These investors are now demanding refunds that range from $50,000 to $2million.

Bates is understood to have paid back three investors, but at least 15, of whom are scattered around Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay and Singapore, are furiously chasing the businessman and demanding to know where the money has gone.
