Liam Gallagher Quits Booze After Final Oasis Show in Brazil

Liam Gallagher has said he is giving up booze for good and admitted he is ‘free from temptation’ following the final Oasis reunion show in Brazil.

The rocker, 53, and his brother Noel, 58, wrapped up their high-anticipated concerts in Sao Paulo this week, and had quit cigarettes and alcohol to protect his voice.

Despite celebrating with ‘a few beers’, Liam admitted that e is very much done with booze.

Sharing a post to X after the concert, he wrote: ‘I had a few beers wasn’t feeling it I’m back on the righteous path free from temptation.’

Responding to Liam’s update, fans congratulate him and said they were ‘so proud’ of his lifestyle change.

Previously, when he was asked by a fan on Twitter if he missed his vices, Liam admitted it was time he ‘sorted his life out’ because he knew how much the tour meant to fans.

Liam told the fan: ‘Oasis saved my life. It’s about time I sorted my nappa [head] out. I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made.

He signed off the message ‘thems the rules MCFC’, in a nod to his football team, the treble-winning blues, Manchester City.

When another fan asked him if he misses the ‘occasional Guinness’, Liam replied: ‘Yeah I miss talking absolute b***ocks when I’m bladdered.’

It’s been estimated that he and his brother will end up making up to £400 million from their 41-show global tour.

But the Oasis reunion was already paying off big for Liam, long before the band even stepped onstage.

The singer-songwriter and his older brother Noel sent fans into a tailspin last year, when they announced they would be sharing the stage once again, 16 years after their infamous backstage bust-up in Paris caused Oasis to split.

And predictably, the Oasis Live ’25 world tour sold out immediately – despite tickets reaching staggering prices – with the Gallaghers previously expected to earn more than £50million each from tickets alone.

But even before the tour kicked off, Liam was cashing in, reporting to have made a whopping £5.2 million in the lead-up to their first show in Cardiff on July 4.

The earnings were reported in documents filed to Companies House for his firm, Will Power Touring, which he set up last year for ‘support activities to performing arts’, with Liam as its sole member of staff.

The takings are the equivalent of £19,000 per day, spanning nine months from June 2024 to March this year – four months before the tour began – suggesting Liam was granted a huge advance.

In August, it was revealed that Liam and Noel were already sitting pretty on a massive fortune from Oasis’ music publishing, before reuniting.

Their firm, Big Brother Recordings, reported earnings of £3.6million in the year ending December 31, 2024, meaning the pair were cashing in a whopping £69,000 a week last year, with the company’s assets sitting at £10.2million by the time of the tour.
