Danny Jones and Wife Georgia Enjoy Romantic Dinner After Maura Higgins Scandal

Danny Jones showed he and wife Georgia were firmly back on track as the pair enjoyed a glamorous birthday dinner on Thursday night, following the fallout from his kissing scandal earlier this year.

The McFly singer, 38, who has been married to Georgia Horsley for 11 years, hit the headlines back in February after he was caught in a compromising clinch with his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins, 34, at a BRIT’s afterparty. 

Further reports claimed the pair had continued their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu Hotel bar. 

However after a tough few months, which reportedly saw Georgia temporarily move out of their marital home, it seems the couple are working hard on rebuilding their marriage as they were spotted out at the posh restaurant.

The pair – who are parents to son Cooper, seven – headed to luxury Mayfair hotspot 45 Park Lane on Thursday, where Danny documented Georgia’s celebrations. 

Wearing a black turtleneck, long sleeved dress and a gold T-bar necklace, Georgia – whose actual birthday is 6 December – looked stunning for the posh meal at the five-star hotel.

Filming her as she prepared to blow out candles on a birthday dessert plate, Danny captioned the clip with a sweet message, marking her early celebrations and praising the restaurant’s food.

He wrote: ‘Early birthday treat @thegeorgiaedit. Insane food @45parklane CUT!! Thank you @elliottgrover you legend!’ 

The cosy night out comes months after Danny made headlines for sharing a drunken kiss with I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins at a Brit Awards afterparty in March.

At the time, he publicly apologised to Georgia, saying he needed time to be with loved ones and ‘deeply apologised’ for the situation. 

He also assured fans that he and his family would handle matters privately.

Taking to Instagram he wrote a statement saying: ‘Hello everyone. Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.

‘I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.’

‘I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

He ended: ‘See you all soon, Danny.’

Since the kiss scandal, neither Danny nor Maura had attended any of the same events, but the I’m a Celebrity stars came face to face with each other at the National Television Awards in September.

The Love Island star and the McFly singer, went on stage together when their show I’m A Celebrity scooped the prize for Best Reality Competition. 

With hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly absent to collect the gong, the 2024 I’m A Celebrity cast took to the stage all together, with Danny giving the acceptance speech as the reigning champion, while Maura stood mere feet away. 

Despite the scandal, Danny and Georgia continued to quietly work on repairing their  marriage, with the pair enjoying a family holiday with their son Cooper. 

Danny and Georgia also shared some photos of each other on social media in the summer, after a reunion with Georgia’s family.
