Katie Knowles has released a very racy romance novel – and husband Nick couldn’t be prouder.
Lingerie boss Katie, 35, surprised her 103,000 Instagram followers this week as she announced the surprise release of The Edge of Desire – an X-rated novel that she penned this year while recovering from a hysterectomy.
The steamy tale, which Katie self-published and is selling for £9.99, details a toxic love triangle, with the business owner-turned-author revealing it features ‘obsessive men and messy heroines.’
Alongside a snap of her new novel, she penned: ‘Surprise… I wrote a book!!!!! ✨I know. I didn’t see it coming either.
‘After two ops and a lot of time at home recovering (and losing my mind slightly), I ended up writing a dark romance. And somehow… it turned into a full novel, and a SPICY one at that!
‘Because who doesn’t love a sexy book?!? And now it’s been published – and it’s a real book!!!’

Katie continued: ‘The Edge of Desire is out now on Amazon – in paperback & hardback NOW.

In September, she had to be rushed back to hospital after the stitches where her cervix had been sewn up had ruptured, leaving her in pain, bleeding and close to passing out.
A team of six surgeons performed the operation with fears her bowel had been perforated.
Speaking of the terrifying moment, a helpless Nick told The Sun: ‘For Katie to be three months into her recovery, and for it to fail and her to then have to go in for life-saving surgery. The emergency operation that was the one that was really frightening.’
Nick said he is so proud of Katie for finding the courage to speak out about her journey, despite the traumatising experience she has had.
The presenter said Katie ‘pushed herself too far’ after her hysterectomy and they are now having to be ‘very careful’ about her recovery.
