The Traitors star Jonny Holloway has urged followers to ‘avoid manipulative, lying women’ and insists he would never lie for someone after being dragged into Charlotte Chilton’s messy paternity row.Â
The former soldier has been mooted as the potential father of Chilton’s infant daughter, Penelope, after two paternity tests appeared to undermine her original claim that she fell pregnant during a one-night stand with singer Conor Maynard.Â
An indignant Maynard, who has always denied being the child’s biological father, subsequently pointed the finger at Holloway, her co-star on the first UK series of The Traitors.Â
Holloway, already a father to two children with ex-wife Lauren Ward, has since hit out at Chilton in a short video, shared with Instagram followers on Thursday.
Listing his New Year resolutions, the ex-soldier promised to ‘avoid being dragged into messy situations, avoid manipulative, lying women’ and vowed to ‘avoid the claims of not having a leg to stand on.’Â
Playing the final point for laughs, Holloway drew attention to his left leg – which was amputated below the knee following a Taliban ambush while on active service in Afghanistan.Â

Captioning the video, he wrote: ‘Sometimes my life doesn’t feel real, at least I can say I am as real as someone can be. I will never lie for someone.’Â
Tellingly, Holloway overlaid his latest post with a snippet of Conor Maynard’s new single, Cherry On Top – a song with pointed lyrics inspired by the singer’s tangled paternity row with Chilton.Â
Despite two paternity tests appearing to confirm Maynard did not father Chilton’s daughter, the brunette has steadfastly denied sleeping with Holloway, and maintains the singer was intimate with at the time she fell pregnant.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail in November, the former soldier claimed he had slept with his Traitors co-star, but was unable to perform because he had consumed too much alcohol.Â
‘If I was the father I would step up and take that child as my own,’ he said. ‘Relations took place on a drunken night out.Â
‘I was heavily intoxicated at the time. I’ve asked for a DNA test several times but have been ignored.
‘I’m a man of values and standards, I come from a military background. I pride myself on having respect and being a good dad to my children.’

Addressing Instagram followers in a recent video, he said: ‘So first of all, I know the dates don’t add up.
‘The person who pulled me into this has changed some details and it insinuates that I’m the father.
‘I don’t think I’m the father, like I said, because the dates don’t add up. When it happened I was very drunk.Â
‘”He” didn’t want it to happen… obviously that’s not something I really want to talk about.’
He added: ‘My name has been brought into the picture publicly. My kids are involved in this. Penelope is still involved in this.
‘I want a DNA test to take my name out of this. I know this entire situation is unreal, but I can’t explain it anymore than that.’
