Jeff Brazier was supported by a group of his celebrity pals after breaking his silence on his split from his wife Kate in an emotional post on Tuesday night.
The likes of Alison Hammond, Kate Lawler and Sian Welby – all of whom he works with at ITV – showed their kindness under a post he made about the separation.
In a statement on Instagram on Tuesday, Jeff, 46, revealed their marriage broke down over summer after they discovered they couldn’t make each other happy.
Alongside a throwback photo from a family holiday, Jeff made reference to the difficult year they had faced due to fractured relations with his son Freddy, 21.
Underneath Alison commented with a series oh heart emojis while Kate penned: ‘Ah guys how lovely that you’re still so close ❤️ xx.’
Sian wrote: ‘Nothing but respect for this post.’

Denise Welch, Tamzin Outhwaite and Lisa Faulkner also reached out with sweet comments on social media.
Earlier this week it was reported the couple had decided to end their seven-year marriage, with Jeff then breaking his silence with the post.
He told fans: ‘I’m so full of love and gratitude for Kate. For all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured.
‘We separated in the summer and kept it private for as long as we could to give us some time to adjust.
‘For 12 years we have been each others safe space, each others biggest supporters at a time when our lives have been busy, painful & complex.
‘I’m so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more.
‘I’m also so full of respect and admiration for the successful career Kate has built and the way she cared for me unconditionally.’
Jeff said Kate, 35, is still in touch to check in on how his sons are doing, as Freddy prepares to welcome his first child.
The presenter continued: ‘It’s credit to the woman she is that she still checks in to ask how the boys are doing because she is so invested in their lives.
‘They love her and I have many friends that love her too. I will miss her family who always went above and beyond to support us.

In a statement on Instagram on Tuesday, Jeff, 46, revealed their marriage broke down over summer after they discovered they couldn’t make each other happy
It came after it was reported that PR guru Kate moved out of their marital home three weeks ago
‘My words don’t tell the full picture because they don’t need to. We will carry on supporting each other and I know I’ll be celebrating her inevitable wins just like before.
‘We both deserve complete happiness and we’re upset that we ultimately couldn’t be that for one another and It felt time to let it go.’
It came after it was reported that PR guru Kate moved out of their marital home three weeks ago.
Speculation was rife when Jeff then shared snaps from his new countryside property as he detailed the ‘transitional time’ in his life and how he was ‘living in calm’.
The presenter was then seen without his wedding ring while reporting from Reykjavik on Monday’s Good Morning Britain, while Kate too reportedly ditched her band after heading to Las Vegas for the Grand Prix.
The couple previously split in late 2022 before reconciling seven months later.
At the time, Kate admitted she ‘felt like a failure’ in her marriage to Jeff before realising every couple has their struggles, following their reconciliation.
She gave her thoughts on marriage after being asked by a follower for advice on how to get theirs back on track.
She replied: ‘I think we are all guilty of portraying only the good bits on social media. Anyone who says marriage and raising kids is easy is lying in my opinion. I felt like such a failure until I realised everyone has their struggles.
‘I would never share the details of our relationship, but the one thing I am grateful for is that my husband is just as willing to put the work into himself and the relationship as I am. You can’t ask for anything more than that.’
However, the family have been through a turbulent time over the past 12 months, especially with Jeff’s son Freddy.
The son of the TV presenter and late Big Brother star Jade Goody recently patched things up with his father following a bitter family feud.
During this time, Jeff considered taking legal action to block access between his son and maternal grandmother Jackiey Budden, in a bid to ‘keep him safe’.
Freddy, who is expecting his first child with on/off girlfriend Holly Swinburn, claimed Jackiey got him hooked on drugs, before appearing to reveal he had tragically ‘tried to end it all’ by ‘crashing his car’ in the middle of a ‘manic episode’.
In June Freddy appeared to take a swipe at Kate as he listed things he hates with ‘step parents’ being one of them.
In his statement Jeff said Kate, 35, is still in touch to check in on how his sons are doing, as Freddy prepares to welcome his first child (L-R: Bobby, Freddy, Jeff and Kate)
Freddy revealed in August that he would be welcoming his first child and vowed to turn his life around and patch up his relationship with his father.
The influencer sadly lost his mother, Jade, when he was just four years old after she died from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in 2009.
Jade’s mother Jackiey helped raise Bobby and Freddy following Jade’s death, but she and Jeff have clashed multiple times over the years.
More recently, Freddy confessed to starving himself and replacing food with ‘green’, which is a street name for the drug cannabis.
Freddy included a video of himself walking along a street in a dressing gown, following by a short clip of an ambulance with the caption: ‘Had episode after episode. Til I got sectioned and spent my 18th in a psychiatric ward.’
