Joey King looked unrecognizable as she debuted a bold new look over the weekend.
The actress, 25, flaunted her new bleached eyebrows for the cameras while attending W Magazine’s starry pre-Golden Globes party on Saturday night.
The brows, which looked nearly invisible against King’s pale complexion, were in stark contrast to her wavy brunette hair.
King gave a closer look at her transformation — one that’s been tried by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Julia Fox — in photos share to Instagram on Sunday.
Rocking grungy eye makeup, King snapped a pouty selfie before posing for sultry portraits in a chic Wiederhoeft outfit at the invite-only party’s rooftop venue.
While her BFFs Sabrina Carpenter and Noah Cyrus raved over King’s new appearance, fans of the Golden Globe nominated TV star had mixed reactions.

Meanwhile, other fans felt that the look missed the mark.
‘I see now the importance of eyebrows,’ penned one Instagram user, with another writing: ‘Why… Just… why?’

The buzz around King’s brows comes after it was confirmed on Tuesday that she will announce the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations this week.
According to Variety, she and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story star Cooper Koch will reveal the nominees on Netflix’s YouTube channel on the morning of Wednesday, January 8.
The duo will be introduced to viewers by SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher.
The annual SAG Awards ceremony, which is in its 31st year, will be streamed via Netflix on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Hosted by Kristen Bell, stars will flock to LA’s Shrine Auditorium to celebrate the latest achievements in both film and television.
King, who has been working professionally as an actress since age four, is no stranger to awards season.

Back in 2020, her performance in Hulu’s The Act — which told the story of the real-life 2015 murder of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s mother Dee Dee — earned her both a SAG Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for Lead Actress in a limited TV series.
While King did not end up winning, her co-star Patricia Arquette took home an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Gypsy-Rose’s mother.
King portrayed Gypsy-Rose, who was found guilty of second-degree murder in 2016 for her part in the death of her mother.
Gypsy-Rose, a victim of munchausen syndrome by proxy, has repeatedly accused Dee Dee of horrific physical, mental and medical abuse that started in childhood.
She was sentenced to 10 years in prison but was released on parole in December 2023.
When The Act was released in March 2019, Gypsy-Rose said she was upset because the show allegedly never asked her for permission to tell her story — nor compensated her for it.
However, King revealed last year that she and Gypsy-Rose had ‘privately talked a little bit’ in the months following her December 2023 prison release.

‘She and I have privately talked a little bit, which has been really nice,’ King told Variety in February 2024.
‘Having that private conversation with her was really lovely,’ King said.
‘We both know that there’s absolutely no ill will towards one another,’ King continued.
‘I really appreciated that we got to say those things to each other that were just really sweet and supportive because people are stupid and people assume whatever they want, and people are just going to make up stuff because it’s funny to them.’
She added: ‘There was no air to clear at all. There was nothing wrong. But it was nice to just connect for a minute.’
