‘I couldn’t believe our beautiful daughter was here,’ she added.

‘I literally wondered if I was being dramatic by going to the hospital so soon after it got intense, since with Vally I had laboured at home for the first 16 hours (about 12 of those hours were intense).

‘Thank goodness Matt called the midwife when he did and that she has told us to leave.’

She gushed that she couldn’t have asked yeah i for a better birth, calling it a ‘wild experience’.

‘It’s absolutely crazy what you can go through and endure without even a Panadol!!!! I’m so lucky I had amazing support throughout my pregnancy and birth!’

The caption was accompanied by a carousel of sweet photos of Shonee, Matt, and their newborn, showing the family at the hospital and later at home.
