Taking to X they said: ‘They would have got away with the air freshener lol it was the salt that was the issue’: ‘You gotta give it up to Shona for bringing in a massive bottle of air freshener, she wouldn’t have got caught if it wasn’t for Alex’s salt’.
‘I was expecting Shona to show that she she might have snuck in a packet of biscuits or something she actually brought in an air freshener’;
‘Shona having an air fresher in camp. I am wondering how she sneaked that big thing into the jungle’.
Campmates were left shocked by both Shona and Alex’s revelations, but viewers at home were unconvinced, claiming the celebs were faking being in the dark after spending day eating the BBC sports star’s secretly seasoned food.
Elsewhere, camp was thrown into chaos when the contestants were evacuated by production staff into the Bush Telegraph during a horrendous thunderstorm.
Filming for the show was delayed by three hours as the celebs sheltered in the small confessional hut as the rain hammered during a thunder and lightning storm.

A show source told the Daily Mail: ‘Our health and safety weather contingencies kicked in and we evacuated the celebrities immediately to the Bush Telegraph until the storm passed and it was safe to return to camp.’
The rain struck at 2pm Australian time, which is 4am in the UK and lasted for around an hour.
