Macaulay Culkin just reminded fans of the legal name change he made back in 2019.
On Saturday the 45-year-old actor made an appearance at A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin — a Home Alone screening tour to celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary — and answered a question about his ‘actual name.’
‘My name is Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin,’ he said while recalling the time fans voted to change his middle name several years ago.
The switch came after the star conducted a 2018 poll, in which the other options were ‘Shark Week,’ ‘Kieran’ (his younger brother’s name), ‘TheMcRibIsBack,’ and ‘Publicity Stunt.’
Macaulay, whose loved ones call him Mack, joked at the event, ‘Macaulay Kieran Culkin. That would be great. I love my brother. Between me and him we have exactly one Oscar,’ according to an account from People.
The poll was initially announced during his TV spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2018.

Macaulay conducted a poll on his comedy lifestyle site Bunny Ears, where he asked fans to pick a new middle name, and the winner was announced on Christmas Day.
He took to Twitter (now X) to share the poll results.
‘Merry Christmas to me, from all of you! My new middle name has been chosen,’ the Hollywood vet wrote online.
‘You voted and the winner is clear. In 2019 my new legal name will be: Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin. It has a nice ring to it (if you like my name),’ it was added.
His original middle name was Carson but he teased in a late November Bunny Ears post: ‘My middle name is something dumb. Larry? Orange? Honestly, I can’t even remember it.
‘So I asked you all to send in some better options so I can go down to the court house and explain to a judge why I need to change my middle name to something cool.’
At Saturday’s event, held at Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California, the actor said: ‘The final vote was Macaulay Culkin.
‘So my name is Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin. If somebody comes up to me at the airport and says, “Excuse me, are you Macaulay Culkin?” I can say, “Well, Macaulay Culkin is my middle name.”‘
The longtime entertainer, who is engaged to Brenda Song, continued, ‘I did it all for that one joke. And a bit on Fallon.’

1990’s Home Alone catapulted a then 10-year-old Macaulay to fame, earning $476.7 million worldwide from just an $18 million budget.
He would go on to star in other blockbusters including The Good Son, My Girl, The Nutcracker and Richie Rich before taking a near decade-long break from acting.
Promoting his screening tour on social media last week, the former child star wrote, ‘It’s different now that we’re older… Come watch the original ‘Home Alone’ with me.’
Engaging his 2.1 million Instagram followers, he added, ‘I’m going to tell you all stories, answer some of your questions, and even pull your kiddos on stage for some “trivia” if they are so inclined.’
Macaulay continued, ‘Why watch ‘Elf’ by yourself? Why watch ‘Grinch’ in a pinch?Why watch ‘Die Hard’ since it’s not a Christmas movie? (fight me)
‘It’s a fun show. You’ll enjoy yourselves…I’d bet my turtle dove on it.’
