Love Actually became an instant Christmas classic upon its release in 2003.
So fans of the Richard Curtis-helmed movie will be delighted to see Google Pixel’s hilarious new Christmas advert, which features a reunion between child star Thomas Brodie-Sangster and national sweetheart Martine McCutcheon.
Thomas, 35, played Liam Neeson’s son Sam in the movie and his main character arc followed him learning the drums in a bit to impress his classmate Joanna, while Martine played Natalie, the Prime Minister’s love interest.
In the advert, Thomas is seen as desparately clinging to his Love Actually fame, as he reveals around Christmas he hangs around South Bank in a bid to be noticed – only to be overlooked by other stars and moments from the movie.
As he hits the drums he believes a fan is taking pictures – however tragically they are in fact spotting Martine in the background – who drops the popcorn she is buying and utters ‘oh s**t!’ in a mimic of one of Natalie’s lines in the film.

Martine is heralded ‘the actor from Love Actually!’ while Thomas ignored by passersby
After Thomas’ character famously learnt to play the drums to impress his school crush, the ‘fame hungry’ star takes to the drums again for the advert, in which he says to the camera: ‘Everyone loves a drumming scene’
Speaking to the camera, Thomas launches the advert by saying: ‘This is it, this is where we filmed Love Actually…
‘I like to come back here once or twice or 20 odd times each Christmas just to give something back to the fans and I get recognoised a lot.
Thomas gets excited as a passerby turns and appears to take a picture of him, before it appears she is actually taking a picture of the famous nativity lobster. She exclaims: ‘Oh my God Lily’s a lobster!’
He again faux humbly states: ‘I really do this all for my fans’, before another Google Pixel is brought out while an actor impersonates Hugh Grant’s famous Prime Minister dance to the tune of The Pointer Sisters’ Jump.

An excited couple are then seen saying: ‘Look! It’s the actor from Love Actually’ – unfornately it is a distant, popcorn buying Martine McCutcheon in the back who is captured on camera – not Thomas.
He hilariously states that the clip will ‘go viral immediately’.
