Aussie fans have slammed Doja Cat after the US rapper made a disastrous appearance at a Melbourne nightclub on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, had fans waiting a whopping three hours before she hit the stage.
After performing just three songs, the gig was over in 15 minutes, with the rap diva telling the sell-out crowd that she was ‘losing her voice’.
Interviewed after the anti-climactic gig at the trendy Ms Collins nightclub, one fan described the experience as a ‘letdown’.
‘I would have appreciated it if Doja Cat had communicated her situation earlier in the night and potentially even offered to DJ her own songs,’ the male fan told the Herald Sun, adding:Â Â
‘I think the crowd would have appreciated at least seeing her on stage for more than 15 minutes. It was a let-down.’

The gig was Doja Cat’s only club show on her current Australian tour, and had some fans paying up to $130 for admission.
Taking to X on Monday, one Doja Cat enthusiast shared their disappointment.
‘3 songs and so much money later, I’m heartbroken,’ they wrote, while another messaged the Say So singer: ‘Pull up’ – social media slang for a ‘challenging confrontation’.
Other fans shared images on the platform of the pop-rapper signing CDs during her brief appearance.Â
Meanwhile, the top-selling artist is scheduled to play a stadium show at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Tuesday.
It comes after Doja Cat sent fans into a frenzy earlier this year when she announced she would be heading Down Under for stadium shows in November and December.
But fans in Adelaide were furious, as the hitmaker left off the South Australian capital for the Aussie leg of her Ma Vie World Tour stadium shows.
‘Of course, no Adelaide,’ one person wrote on Instagram, with others adding, ‘Adelaide pls,’ ‘Cries in ADL,’ and, ‘Adelaide?’

‘Thanks, from Adelaide,’ said another.
Someone else commented: ‘Of course Adelaide missed out.’
‘There are so many fans in Adelaide though WTH,’ one user noted.
Another agreed with: ‘We NEED an Adelaide show!’
After completing her Melbourne stint, the Paint The Town Red hitmaker will then play at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, November 29.
Doja Cat will wrap up her Aussie stay in Sydney at the Qudos Bank Arena with two shows on December 1 and 2.
