Lily Allen Gets Matching Tattoos with Lindsay Lohan and Slams James Corden

Lily Allen has recalled drunkenly getting matching tattoos with Lindsay Lohan after a night of partying, that turned out to be identical to one of Rihanna’s inkings.

The singer, 39, admitted that it was the ‘beggiest thing I’ve ever done’, after she and the actress, 38, snuck past her security, by climbing over the wall of her luxury hotel in 2009.

Speaking On her podcast, Miss Me? with BFF Miquita Oliver, Lily opened up on her  former friendship with Lindsay in the late 2000s, when the two stars were regularly pictured partying together as Lindsay was dating Samantha Ronson, the sister of Lily’s pal Mark Ronson.

She explained: ‘When I was in LA I’d hang out with her. There was one night where we’d been partying and I was staying at the Chateau Marmont hotel, which is a legendary Hollywood hotel.

‘And my managers had stationed my security outside my room, because they knew how much of a terrorist I was, in terms of just like going out and partying till the early hours of the morning.

‘And I had to be up the next morning to be on this radio show, but it was an early record so we had to get up and do hair and makeup at like six in the morning.’

Lily continued: ‘But Lindsay knew her way around the hotel! Lindsay climbed over the back wall of the hotel into my garden where my room was. She was like, “Pst! Come on let’s go, this way!”

‘So we escaped through the back and jumped over the wall and then went to the Shamrock Tattoo Parlour on Sunset Boulevard and got matching friendship tattoos on our fingers that both said “Shh” on it.

And I thought it was quite cool for like seven hours, until I woke up the next morning and saw on Perez Hilton the headline: “Lily and Lindsay copy Rihanna“.’

She sheepishly admitted: ‘That’s literally the beggiest thing that I’ve ever done in my life is gone with Lindsay Lohan to beg friend Rihanna by getting copycat tattoos.’

A ‘beg friend’ is described as a person who ‘begs’ for your attention in the hope of forming a friendship.

Teasing her friend, Miquita pulled up a photo of the duo and their tattoos, saying: ‘I’ve got the picture here, Jesus Christ! It looks like a different time, don’t it babe?’

Last year, Lily revealed that she had been fuming with Lindsay after learning their tattoos were exact copies of music icon Rihanna’s.

Speaking to Ed Gamble and James Acaster on their Off Menu podcast, she said: ‘I was very angry with Lindsay Lohan, because she had sold it to me as an original idea.

‘She did not tell me it was already existing on one of the coolest pop stars in the whole world!’

Lily has since had the tattoo changed to say the year of her birth, 1985, instead, but admitted she didn’t know if Lindsay knew she had.

She said: ‘We haven’t really spoken about it, but she has made contact with me recently. She wants to make friends again. I’m quite up for it.’

Speaking to Miquita about her and Lindsay’s infamous past friendship, Lily explained the pair had gone through a rough patch, but that they had now reconnected and gushed that she ‘loves Linds’.

She said: ‘Lindsay and I – it was quite fraught for a bit between the two of us. I can’t really remember why, maybe because I was close to Samantha and things got a bit heated between them too.

‘But now things are really nice, she texts me sort of intermittently when she’s around in New York.

‘She’s producing stuff, she’s very supportive on social media, always likes my pictures and comments under things. I love Linds!’

Her confession about being a ‘beg friend’, came after she savagely gave James Corden the same moniker, following his accusations that she had led him on, which she refuted.

The Not Fair hitmaker said she met the comedian, 45, on her chat show in 2008, describing him as being ‘very flirtatious’ with her.

Lily had hosted BBC show, Lily Allen and Friends, back in 2008, with James appearing to promote Gavin & Stacey.

She explained they hung out for a ‘hazy’ short period of time afterwards, but James misread the signs, later claiming in his book that Lily had led him on.

The musician recalled: ‘Yeah, James Corden was a bit of a beg friend for me. James Corden came on my chat show and was like very flirtatious with me and we sort of made friends and I introduced him to a group of my friends.

‘And I don’t really remember it because that whole period of time was a bit hazy.’

Lily continued: ‘I believe that he wrote about it in his book that, you know, that I was like leading him on or something – which I definitely wasn’t.

‘I think in his mind, maybe it went on a bit longer. But yeah, I’d say if I ever had a famous beggy friend, it was James Corden back in the day.’

The mother-of-two then joked: ‘He’s not begging me anymore. I’m not begging him either. I can’t do anything for him now, he’s good.’

James has recently moved back to the UK after presenting The Late Late Show in America for several years.

A representative for James Corden was contacted by MailOnline for comment.

What did James Corden write about Lily Allen in his book?

James wrote in his memoir in 2011 of Lily: ‘She’s confident, funny and intelligent. I guess I went out with Lily four or five times in total – and not once was it a proper date.

‘It always seemed to involve other people and not just the two of us.’

He wrote that the ‘reality dawned’ on him when he was hanging out with Lily at her home with a couple of her friends.

Lily apparently then said she was going to bed, so James accompanied her upstairs, where she showed him into the guest bedroom and told him goodnight.

‘Never have I felt such a douchebag,’ he wrote. ‘Who was I trying to kid? I remember lying in bed and realising how badly I’d misread the signs. There was no me and Lily, it was all in my mind.’

Lily has previously said she felt as though James ‘came onto her’ during the TV interview on her BBC Three talk show.

In the episode, James said to Lily: ‘Listen, ignore all those people over there, right, and I don’t know you…’

Lily then interrupted him, and joked: ‘Just f**k me … no, no,’ which resulted in the audience erupting in laughter and applause.

She then said: ‘Thank you very much … that’s how you get into a girl’s pants. Well done, well done, James. Are you single at the moment?’

He replied: ‘Complicated … no I am, yeah.’

In 2017 Lily explained she couldn’t ‘shut him down’ at the time because she would’ve been branded ‘cold’ or ‘snobbish’.

When someone tweeted her claiming she was ‘horny for James Corden’ alongside a link to the episode he appeared on, she replied: ‘No, I wasn’t horny for James cordon either.

‘He came on to me in front of a studio audience. If I’d have shut him down, I would have been labeled cold or up myself or snobbish. [sic]’
