Nashville Snitch Exposes Broadway Bad Boy: Gossip on Zach Bryan’s Fury

Meet the rising country star fans love to hate, who has been embroiled in bitter feuds with everyone from his bad boy rival Zach Bryan to global superstar Beyoncé.

Gavin Adcock, 27, has been releasing music since 2021, but has only recently become a name to know… though it is not for his bro-coded country songs or the fact that fans love throwing beers in the crowd during his concerts.

The Georgia singer is making headlines for his ferocious feuds with fellow country artists, including Bryan, with whom he almost came to blows. He also angered fans when he called out Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, saying, ‘You can tell her we’re coming for her f***ing a**!’

Despite the controversies, Adcock’s star is on the rise. In October, he appeared on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast to discuss his unconventional approach to fame in an episode about why he doesn’t ‘back down.’

Adcock told Bunnie, who is married to country singer Jelly Roll, that he enjoys ‘being outspoken and saying what’s on his mind,’ which has become part of his personal brand.

Despite the success of his album, he’s had brushes with the law and remains at the center of controversy, whether he’s facing an arrest or one of his country rivals at a festival.

Now, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal the truth behind his most noteworthy feud with Bryan – and how he really feels about their most recent run-in.

Adcock is no stranger to notoriety. He first gained infamy as a college football player when a viral video showed him standing on a moving school bus chugging beer before a game at Georgia Southern University. He was then removed from the team in 2021 for his irresponsible antics.

Adcock, who grew up on his family’s cattle farm, released the fittingly titled album Own Worst Enemy in August, which has been a hit with country fans. The album debuted at number four on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and a whole slew of songs went gold and platinum.

Back in May, Adcock spent the night in a Tennessee jail after he was arrested for reckless driving and violating the open container law. Adcock was released and the charges were later dismissed, leading to him making light of the arrest with the song Morning Bail, where he sings about waking up with a handcuff bruise and drinking Folgers with the boys in blue before joking about getting a picture of his mugshot.

Country singers have a long history of embracing legal skirmishes, including Bryan, who poked fun at his own arrest by putting his mugshot on the cover of his Spotify playlist titled Outlaw. The case was later closed after Bryan completed a deferred prosecution agreement.

The two singers nearly came to blows on September 13 when they both performed at the Born and Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, after getting heated on opposite sides of a chain link fence.

Now, the Daily Mail has learned from an insider close to both singers about how they each feel regarding the highly publicized altercation.

The source said Bryan thinks ‘Gavin is a piece of you know what’ and ‘hates him.’

‘If they are ever in the same place at the same, there will be fists thrown,’ the source said, adding that Bryan ‘is a cocky tough guy who always believes he is right, so if anyone is against him, they’ll hear it.’

The insider also said Adcock ‘is not the only person that has problems with Zach, and most people in the country world who care about this feud are on Gavin’s side because Zach has been continuously on the side of drama.’

The source said Bryan has had to apologize over a tweet about Taylor Swift and has consistently been embroiled in conflict concerning his ex-girlfriend Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia.

Adcock and Bryan’s issues came to a head after a video of the incident – where Bryan is heard saying, ‘Hey, do you want to fight like a man?’ before scaling the fence – went viral. Bryan can be seen being held back while security ushered Adcock away.

Adcock later posted an Instagram video taking aim at Bryan and called him ‘Sack Cryin.’ Adcock said he doesn’t think Bryan, 29, is ‘a very good person’ and accused him of saying ‘douchebag stuff.’

Adcock explained he refused to fight because he was set to go onstage and ‘no artist that cares about their fans is gonna fight right before their set, missing going on and disappointing fans that spent way too much money to be there.’

Adcock shared the footage on Instagram with the caption: 'When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown' (Pictured: Adcock with his back to the camera, Bryan on the opposite side of the fence)

‘I wasn’t even mad, didn’t even have a single reason to fight him,’ Adcock continued. ‘I’m just an adult, and fighting him would only mean going to jail, missing my set, and falling into a Zach Bryan lawsuit.’

Adcock ended the video by saying, ‘I’ll be praying for him to get better ’cause he sure needs it.’

Their showdown was a few months in the making, as they first started quarreling in July.

Adcock called out Bryan after an incident with a 14-year-old fan who was disappointed when he didn’t get an autograph from Bryan after waiting hours to meet him.

Bryan responded to the young fan by saying, ‘You’re not entitled, after someone plays two and a half hours, to a picture or a hello,’ along with the racy acronym ‘GOMD’ (known to mean: get off my d***).

Adcock disapproved of the comment and took to X to air his grievances.

‘If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old why do people idolize you? That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/parents spent a ton of money to see you.

‘He’s got feeling[s] too and you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around,’ he wrote.

This week, Adcock commented on Bryan’s post about his sobriety and said: ‘We all know when he made that decision,’ before quickly deleting the comment.

Adcock also went head to head with Charley Crockett, who disapproved of Adcock’s rant about Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning Cowboy Carter album.

Adcock unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade against Beyoncé during his concert in June 2025 that seemed to be spurred on by her album Cowboy Carter ranking higher on Apple Music’s Country chart than his debut.

Adcock talked about the rankings and said, ‘One of them’s Beyoncé – you can tell her we’re coming for her f***ing a**!’

‘That s*** ain’t country music and it ain’t ever been country music, and it ain’t gonna be country music,’ he continued while raising a bottle of booze to the crowd.

Crockett, 41, jumped to Beyoncé’s defense.

In an August 19 Instagram post, Crockett, who is of black, Cajun, Creole and Jewish ancestry, wrote: ‘Hey country folks. @beyonce ain’t the source of your discontent. It was 25 years of bro country.’

While Crockett never named Adcock, he said, ‘I don’t need to put down a black woman to advance my music. That’s just embarrassing to the idea of America and I got no respect for it.’

Adcock believed it was a dig, and he called Crockett a ‘cosplay cowboy’ in return. While opening up a show for Morgan Wallen, he held up a Crockett shirt while Wallen held up two middle fingers.

On Adcock's (pictured) single On One, he sings: 'I didn't grab the bottle, yeah, the bottle grabbed me / I'll be riding this train till the sun starts to creep / Gotta woman of the night hanging onto my hip / Gotta Miller in her hand and a smoke on her lip'

It’s not just country stars who are victims of his wrath. In July, Adcock got into a heated exchange with a Nickelback sound technician during Rock the Country festival in Anderson, South Carolina.

The argument came to a head after the technician and Adcock’s father fought during the country singer’s set and it was all captured on video, which was posted to TikTok and went viral.

Adcock was caught saying, ‘Hey buddy, you’re gonna lose your g*d***n job, you stupid a** bum, you better f**k off back there.’

Adcock defended his behavior in a video and said, ‘I see him and they are about to grab my dad, and I just run down the alley and tell them ‘Nah you ain’t kicking me out, he’s the one causing problems,’ so the security got him, took him on his way, that was it.’

Through it all, his influencer girlfriend Haley Larkin, 23, has stood by his side, posting loved up photos with the controversial singer.

Larkin captioned a series of snaps, ‘Home is wherever you are,’ to which Adcock simply replied, ‘Darlin.’

The Daily Mail has contacted reps for Adcock and Bryan for comment, but has not heard back.
