Celebs Go Dating is reportedly hoping to sign Married At First Sight star, Lucinda Light, as its first star for their 2026 series.

The Australian personality, 44, is believed to be keen on joining the E4 reality show after her last jump at finding love on TV didn’t go to plan.

And Channel 4 bosses are reportedly equally keen to sign her, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: ‘She’s in talks with E4 bosses and everyone really wants her on board.’

The Daily Mail contacted Channel 4 for a comment.

Lucinda starred on MAFS Australia last year, marrying business owner Timothy Smith, 52.

The pair failed to make their marriage work and decided to leave the process after failing to strike up a romantic connection.

They initially remained friends, but Tim went on to unfollow Lucinda on Instagram, claimed she had let the fame get to her head, and was now ‘a little different to who he had been married to during filming.’

Lucinda responded by saying that she’s sorry if she hurt him, adding: ‘I only wish Tim all the love and success’.

The talks for show comes after she embarked on an Australian tour in January 2025, following a successful stint across the UK.

But ahead of the first show, she took to Instagram to beg followers to buy her tickets; some were shocked to see she was charging almost $200 for a meet-and-greet.

Her five-day speaking tour general admission tickets were priced at $49 to $59, but for fans who wanted to meet the marriage celebrant face-to-face had to fork out $189.

Followers who splashed cash on the pricey ticket were also allowed front row seats to the 90-minute show, which will take place in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Just weeks before the first show, tickets appeared to be under-performing due to the exorbitant price, with only 24.1 per cent of Sydney tickets sold, reported Yahoo Lifestyle.

Meanwhile, 17 per cent of the Perth tickets were bought, and the front stalls section of Lucinda’s Melbourne show was 56 per cent sold.

Lucinda kicked off her Australian speaking tour in Perth at the Regal Hall on January 23 before jetting to Sydney for a January 25 show at City Recital Hall.

January 30 saw Lucinda perform at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne before she finishes her tour in Brisbane at the Powerhouse on February 1.
