Alan Carr has revealed how Amanda Holden tried to help him with his dating life, but she was a bit ‘naive’ when setting up his account.
The close friends star together on their travel show, the latest installment, Amanda and Alan’s Greek Job, sees the pair renovate a property in Corfu Greece.
And while in Greece Amanda thought she would attempt to aid the comedian’s love life after making him an account on a Greek app.
Speaking to The Sun Alan explained: ‘Amanda put me on a Greek app, but I don’t think she realised how much information the gays want!
‘There were sizes, kinks: “Are you a train or a tunnel?” “Are you the letter or the letterbox?”‘
He joked: ‘She went “Alan, I love you to bits, but I’ve had to guess some of these.” I think she was a bit naive and thought they’d be asking about eye colour, but it was quite intimate.’

The funnyman previously wed Paul Drayton in 2018 , with pal Adele as their officiant, before announcing their split in January 2022 after being together for 13 years.
Last year he exclusively confirmed to The Daily Mail that he’s back on the market after his reported split from toyboy boyfriend Callum Heslop, 28.
Alan previously said he would never use apps as shared the one condition he has while dating.
He told the Mirror back in January: ‘I’m dating, I’m dipping my toe in, but that’s all I’m doing. I won’t do the apps, it has to be a friend of a friend. I’m just going on a few dates but they’re unsuccessful. I mean, I’m never in the country, but I’m ready now for someone… anyone.’
Speaking about his type Alan quipped: ‘I look for a rugby boy. I like them big, and chunky – chunky everywhere. If you catch what I’m saying’.
However despite his hopes of finding love the TV personality admitted he was not using any dating sites: ‘How can I go on Grindr? I’m taking it easy at the minute. Do you really want this face popping up on a [dating] app?’.
Earlier this week Alan shared the real reason why he broke down in tears during the Celebrity Traitors’ finale.
The funnyman – who was chosen to be a Traitor alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, 25 – made it to the final with Cat, Joe Marler, 35, Nick Mohammed, 45, and David Olusoga, 55.

Earlier this week Alan shared the real reason why he broke down in tears during the Celebrity Traitors’ finale during his appearance on This Morning
And after he found out the news, he burst into tears and during an intereview on This Morning on Friday he confessed: ‘That’s what made me cry was Nick – around that roundtable, at the end, he looked at me, and he was like, “We’ve got this,” and I was like, “No, I’ve got this.”
‘But what came over me? I started getting a blood lust… I wanted a murder.’
He also opened up about the ‘abuse’ that he received when he murdered his co-star Tom Daley, 31.
Alan said: ‘I murdered Paloma. I felt awful. And then the next week, when I murdered Tom Daley, I was getting abuse from the gays.
‘”Oh, you’ve killed the only eye candy in the castle, Alan!” Like, “Hello!”
‘And then I had to kill poor Celia Imrie.’
