Charli Burnett of Vanderpump Rules Weds in Mexico

Vanderpump Rules star Charli Burnett is officially a married woman.

The Bravo alum tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Corey Loftus last week in Mexico, People reports.

The couple exchanged vows in San Miguel de Allende, a colonial-era city in the Mexican state of Guanajuato – and a region where Burnett’s great-grandfather hails from.

‘My great-grandfather immigrated from that region, making it a deeply meaningful place for our family,’ she told the publication.  

Burnett, 28, and Loftus were together for six years before they became engaged in 2023. 

The couple said ‘I do’ at the educational center Instituo Allende, with the bride clad in a wedding dress by KYHA Studios and mantilla style veil by ForLove Bridal.

She did a costume change mid-bash, slipping into a dress by Taylor Cox for the reception.

The reception dress was particularly special – it was fashioned out of two dresses Burnett wore while competing in beauty pageants.

The couple hosted friends and family at a welcome party held at the restaurant Zumo prior to tying the knot. 

‘Guests joined us for a traditional callejoneada, parading through town with donkeys, mariachis, and even piñatas of Corey Loftus and me,’ she told People. ‘It was the perfect introduction to the magic of San Miguel.’

Burnett posted a post reflecting on their adventure to San Miguel on Wednesday but didn’t make any mention of their wedding. 

‘The first few days in San Miguel were so magical. Celebrating lulu’s birthday, getting some quality time with family because after this trip everyone’s family now, and exploring the city was so fun,’ she wrote.  ‘this is isn’t even everything but it’s going to take me 2 weeks to recover from this trip and go through all the memories. So much more to come… but this trip will forever be special, I love you San Miguel!’

The wedding came two years after the couple became engaged in Sayulita, Mexico.

Burnett announced their engagement in November with photos of Loftus dropping down to one knee in November 2023.

Burnett was on the show for three seasons until a gut feeling told her not to come back

She captioned the post with the date of the proposal –  ‘11.4.2023.’

Burnett was a member of the Vanderpump Rules cast for three seasons, working as a SUR-ver at Lisa Vanderpump’s iconic SUR restaurant. 

However a gut feeling ended up advising her against returning for a fourth season, as the show no longer ‘aligned’ with her. 

‘I just couldn’t do it,’ she said on The Viall Files. ‘They got the contracts. We were talking for months. Everything was going good and then the day came to sign on the dotted line. I was ready to film that night… something told me not to do it.’

‘I was having a really hard time in negotiations and contracts. I just didn’t know where I kind of fell into place with Vanderpump this year. I just didn’t feel like, where was the show going? Where is everyone else going?…  I just felt like I was in such a different place in my life than everyone else’s and I just didn’t feel connected in the same way.’
