Real Housewives of New York Star Quits Ahead of Season 16

Real Housewives of New York star Jenna Lyons has announced she is quitting the show.

Lyons revealed she ‘made the difficult decision’ to depart the series in a statement posted to her Instagram account on Friday. 

The former J. Crew president was part of the new cast replacing RHONY’s long-term legacies back in 2023, and recently Andy Cohen confirmed they had assembled a cast for the next season of the Bravo show. 

A representative for NBCUniversal, Bravo’s parent company, had no comment when reached out about Lyons by The Daily Mail.  

‘The rumors ….. Are true. So here’s the backstory. I was grateful to be asked to join season 16 of RHONY “as a friend of “- knowing my personal life was not really available to be filmed ,we agreed that made sense,’ she posted.

‘And after thinking it through I have made the difficult decision not return to the show.

‘I would be the oldest and only openly gay woman on the show and feel like this is an opportunity for a new dynamic to emerge.
