Leigh-Anne is proving that she is more than just a former Little Mix member and ‘Leigh-Anne the mum’ to her twin daughter,s she shares with footballer husband Andre Gray, 34.

Speaking on The Red Carpet Treatment podcast, she said: ‘I feel like I am just ready to show a different side to everybody.

‘I think what people know of me, like Leigh-Anne the mum, Leigh-Anne the nice girl. Like, I’m just no more Miss Nice Girl. I’m ready to just show this other side.’

She admitted that being in Little Mix – also Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and previously Jesy Nelson – made it difficult to have her own individuality and claimed the split was a necessary evil.

Leigh-Anne said: ‘I think we all needed it [the split] to be able to express ourselves and be our individual selves.

‘I think everyone should have the opportunity to do that. Being in a group for so long, it does come to a point where actually, yeah, you think, I need to know who I am now.

‘It’s amazing that we’re all in our own little lane and doing our own thing.’

The OMG singer is releasing brand-new music after she revealed she had left record label Warner Music Group earlier this year.

Leigh-Anne signed with Warner as a solo artist in 2022 and released her EP, No Hard Feelings, the following year.

But her solo career stalled after Warner ‘wouldn’t pay for a music video’ for her last single after she reportedly ‘failed to impress’ with her other tracks.

More than a year later, Leigh-Anne revealed she was returning to music this year – but had gone independent.

Now, she has complete creative control over her new record, which is typically unusual for most artists.
