Harper Beckham said she ‘shed a few tears’ watching her older brother Cruz perform on stage during an intimate gig in Notting Hill on Wednesday night.

Mum Victoria, 51, proudly shared a gushing tribute from Harper, 14, to her sibling, 20, who reflected on his music journey – from practicing with his guitar to having his own band.

Cruz held a gig for friends and family inside the old Laylow building in Notting Hill, which was once a celeb hotspot visited by Rihanna, Madonna, Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz, and Mick Jagger.

Laylow closed down two years ago and is now on the market for just under £6 million, and is currently lived in by property guardians to keep squatters out.

Harper wrote: ‘I am beyond proud of you Cruz and how far you have come, I am so so proud to call you not just my brother but my role model.

‘I can’t be more grateful to have a brother like you. I can’t believe you are a rockstar!

‘Last night you were amazing and I may have shed a few years of pride, you have come so far and it’s crazy to me that you stayed with just you and your guitar and now you are performing with your own band, your own crowd and so many people that love and care for you.

‘Watching you last night honestly made me tear up and made me realise even more how talented you really are.

‘I love you so, so much and I can’t wait for you to make many more amazing songs and memories along this journey.’

Cruz took to the stage with his band The Breakers. During the set, Cruz performed his latest song Optics, a very explicit single about drugs and sex.

Victoria was in the front row to witness her youngest son’s performance and shared a clip of him singing while playing the guitar.

Alongside the video, she gushed: ‘Wow!!! You look so happy Cruz and we couldn’t be prouder we love you @cruzbeckham xxxxxxxxxx.’

Victoria was also touched when she was presented a bouquet of pink roses from her husband David.

Sharing a photo of them, Posh wrote: ‘Is it because you like my singing? I love you David Beckham’.

She made the quip in reference to Cruz sharing a video himself singing an acoustic version of the Spice Girls ‘ Viva Forever with Victoria.

Fans flooded the comments section branding it a contender to be this year’s Christmas no.1 if the mother and son duo did release the track.

Last month it was reported Cruz had signed with top music management company C3, who worked with the US indie group The Strokes.

He was also pictured in the recording studio.
