Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Address 26-Year Age Gap and Therapy

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin were spotted on a coffee run in New York City this week.

The longtime couple — who are in therapy to navigate their 26-year age gap marriage — looked casual while out without their brood of seven kids.

Hilaria, 41, who was recently booted from Dancing With the Stars, wore a forest green sweatsuit and silver quilted vest.

She added black sneakers and her dark hair was partially pulled back.

Meanwhile, the 67-year-old veteran actor in dark gray pants, a black jacket, and matching sneakers. 

Alec and Hilaria met in 2011, married the following year, and went on to welcome Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, nine, Romeo, seven, Eduardo, five, María Lucía, four, and Ilaria, three.

Alec also shares daughter Ireland, 30, with his first wife, actress Kim Basinger, 71.

Hilaria recently revealed she lost part of her identity after marrying the former 30 Rock star.

Speaking on Caroline Stanbury’s Uncut And Uncensored podcast, she opened up about challenges within their 13-year marriage.

The mom-of-seven confessed, ‘I don’t believe that age is just a number, at least in our situation.’

‘There are certain things where I have to look at him and say, he has 26 more years of experience. And sometimes that’s a flex, and sometimes that means that we need to do a little therapy,’ she said.

The former yoga instructor added that while much has been written about her supposedly pushing for a large family, it was Alec who was ‘the instigator.’

‘Can I tell you, he’d have more,’ she said. ‘I’m the one who’s like, no more, thank you very much. He would have more. He’s the second oldest of six.

‘And he had the very notorious, complicated situation with his previous wife and with Ireland. I think he wanted a chance to do it in a different way and make different choices.’

She added that though life in the Baldwin household is often chaotic, it’s also full of love: ‘Ultimately, we always remind ourselves, there’s such beauty to it. It was very well-thought-out.’

Alec’s life was forever changed following the accidental fatal shooting of his Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021. 

Hilaria has proudly and dutifully stood by her husband’s side in the wake of his nightmare workplace tragedy.

After Halyna died at the hands of Alec as he pulled the trigger of what was supposed to be a stunt gun, New Mexico prosecutors put him on trial for involuntary manslaughter in July 2024

But only three days in, the judge permanently dismissed the case after it was discovered the prosecutors had failed to turn over potentially exculpatory evidence to his defense team.

In January, the father-of-eight filed a lawsuit against his prosecutors. 

But in July documents obtained by Daily Mail indicated that the case was thrown out because there had been no progress on it in months.
