She is Nancy Cartwright, who is the aunt of performer and actress Carpenter.

She voices the character of Bart in the animated series The Simpsons.

A feature-length film, The Simpsons Movie (2007), was released in theaters with a sequel, The Simpsons 2 set to release on July 23, 2027. 

Homer, is the father, works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

He is married to Marge (née Bouvier), a housewife and mother.

They have three children: Bart, a ten-year-old; Lisa, an eight-year-old activist; and Maggie, the baby.

The family also owns a greyhound, Santa’s Little Helper and a cat, Snowball II.

Cartwright was born in Dayton, Ohio. She moved to Hollywood in 1978.

Her first job was on Richie Rich, then did Marian Rose White (1982) and Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983). 

She then landed the role of Bart on The Simpsons.

The star has also voiced Daffney Gillfin in Snorks, Mellissa Screetch in Toonsylvania, Rufus in Kim Possible, Mindy in Animaniacs, Pistol in Goof Troop, the Robots in Crashbox, Margo Sherman in The Critic and Todd Daring in The Replacements. 

In 2000, she published her autobiography, My Life as a 10-Year-Old Boy, and then adapted it into a one-woman play.
