Karren Brady Shows Off Filter-Free Look and Weight Loss at Celebrity Apprentice Christmas Special

Karren Brady revealed her filter-free complexion and showcased her dramatic weight loss as she stepped out in a stylish grey dress at the launch of The Celebrity Apprentice Christmas specials in London on Wednesday. 

The British business executive, 56, oozed confidence in the chic Self-Portrait number, which boasted structured shoulder pads, a white flower brooch and a fitted silhouette. 

Adding inches to her frame with nude pointed heels, Karren posed up a storm for the cameras as she arrived at the star-studded event. 

She completed her stylish look with silver diamond earrings, a gold pendant necklace and a gold wristwatch. 

Also in attendance were AJ Odudu, Sarah Hadland, Charlie Hedges, Jake Wood, Matt Morsia, Tom Skinner, Angela Scanlon, JB Gill, and Kadeena Cox. 

Big Brother host AJ, 37, flashed a glimpse of her taut midriff in a vibrant orange cropped jumper teamed with grey tailored trousers.

Actress Sarah, 54, embraced the festive spirit in a sparkly black mini dress, elevating her look with strappy black heels.

Disc Jockey Charlie, 39, looked elegant in a black dress featuring a satin floor-length skirt.

EastEnders star Jake, 53, kept things casual in a double-denim ensemble complete with a button-up jacket and matching jeans.

Gladiator Matt, 39, cut a suave figure in a rose velvet blazer worn over a black T-shirt and tailored trousers.

TV personality Tom, 34, wrapped up warm in a black puffer gilet paired with a green zip-up jumper and grey cargo trousers.

TV presenter Angela, 41, stunned in a chic black-and-white polka-dot mini dress as she posed with Santa and the Children In Need bear.

Former JLS star JB, 38, looked dapper in a grey checked coat layered over a black turtleneck, beaming for the cameras.

Paralympian Kadeena, 34, turned heads in a black figure-hugging jumpsuit featuring a daring plunging neckline.

Last year, Karren, Lord Sugar’s adviser on the BBC TV show, spoke exclusively to the Mail on Sunday, saying: ‘I have lost quite a bit,’ as she showcased her slender frame while attending the Chain of Hope Gala, held in London’s Natural History Museum.

But she insists her willowy figure is not a result of taking the new weight-loss drugs, such as Ozempic, but from ‘bloody hard work’.

The businesswoman says she doesn’t know how much she has lost in total, as ‘I don’t weigh myself’, but thinks it is more than a stone and explained her recent weight loss was triggered by becoming a grandmother.

‘I have been on a health kick, I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit, healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising.

‘I haven’t joined [the Ozempic Club] – bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off.

‘I have lost quite a bit – I don’t know, though, as I don’t weigh myself. I feel better for it. It is good because everything you put on fits.’

In a revealing interview with the Radio Times when she first joined The Apprentice in 2010, she said: ‘I worry I look posh and fat,’ adding: ‘I’ve spent 20 years battling my weight. Alan’s so fit and slim, I look huge in comparison.’

But Karren, who is the vice chairman of West Ham United, says Lord Sugar has been something of a health kick buddy.

‘He is great, he is very fit. He and my husband cycle when we go away on holiday. He is super fit himself, so if anyone is giving tips, it is him to me.

‘We went around Italy, which was lovely, on Lord Sugar’s boat. It was incredible. He is really lovely and has a wonderful family.’ 

In April, Karren’s daughter, Sophia Peschisolido, revealed she was pregnant with her second child.

The Apprentice star has since become a grandmother once again, just a year after Sophia welcomed a son with her fiancé Frankie Makin.

Sharing the news of her pregnancy on Instagram, Sophia shared a sweet video of herself and Frankie on the beach in Dubai in the sun, with her bump on full display.

She captioned the post: ‘coming soon… baby #2.’

Karren spoke about being a grandmother on The Apprentice You’re Hired earlier this year.

She said: ‘He is the most beautiful little boy in the world, and my daughter is a natural mother.

‘Mother and baby are doing so well, and I am so proud of her and her family and her husband and everyone is really well, so it is great.’
