Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote appears to have given a heartbreaking insight into her failed marriage by posting a song about a love cheat.
The actress has been faced with rumours for six months that she has split from husband of two years Kris Evans.
The soap favourite – currently rehearsing for panto in Norwich – took to Instagram on Tuesday to upload a video of the hit song Cudn’t Be by Canadian star Jessie Reyez.
The track details how a woman stays home alone in a ‘suburban’ house while her partner commits adultery.
The lyrics include the lines: ‘I heard that men, men never choose. The one that they really love is the one that they lose. She ends up being the one they daydream about.’
‘In a suburban house with a woman he settled for. She was better for him, I guess. God bless, but it couldn’t be me, yeah.’

The couple shared a new-build home in Greater Manchester following their marriage, but amid reports Kris has now moved out the lyrics of the song appear to sum up the former Weatherfield star’s current status.
The song continues: ‘I heard that girls, girls never learn. Change everything ’bout myself, hopin’ I’d get a turn (Yeah).
‘Just to be the one he daydream about. In a two-bedroom house with a wife he don’t even love.’
Singer Jessie posted about the song on her Instagram page alongside the words ‘If he ‘never loses,’ why he still haunted by the one he let go. y’all ever watch someone drop the whole blessing on purpose?’ The post was shared by Georgia.Â

But speaking to Sausage on a Fork podcast this week, she confessed she’s had a ‘nightmare’ trying to book jobs and said the last few years have been ‘the quietest time’ of her life.
Georgia said: ‘I came back in the December of 2020 and I just realised, “Oh my God, there’s no work.”
‘Everything that got stopped filming in the UK then got put on a back burner, and then there was a backlog of what was about to start filming. Then everything behind that took four years to come out, then we had the writers’ strikes.’Â
Georgia continued: ‘It’s just been a nightmare. And that’s why this has been the quietest I’ve ever been in my life. I think a lot of actors around the world will say the exact time.’
In addition to her lack of screen work, Georgia was dealt another devastating blow last month when her nail salon burnt down, having started the business to earn extra income amid her struggle to bag acting jobs.
