Vibrant Shirley MacLaine ambled carefully down an opulent Malibu main street en route to a fancy lunch at Lucky’s Steakhouse.
It’s not unusual for the legendary actress to be spotted dining in the area as she’s often seen at Kristy’s Malibu Café, but this time, the 91-year-old switched things up, opting instead for the upscale steakhouse favored by celebrities like the Kardashians.
The Steel Magnolias siren’s November 4 outing was marked by her signature flair for color. She donned a bright, blood-red zip-up jacket layered over a sea-green and yellow graphic Palm Springs crewneck, paired with sage cargo pants and dusty red slip-on shoes.
Wearing her trademark round, chunky glasses, the Academy Award winner clutched a black purse as she was gently steadied by a male friend, who offered his arm while she navigated the sidewalk with care.
After lunch, the pair appeared to make a quick stop at Pavilions, the high-end grocery store, where they picked up three bouquets of flowers and a bag of groceries before heading off.
MacLaine’s slightly unsteady gait, a gentle reminder of her advancing age, wasn’t the only moment to spark concern this year – just before her April birthday, MacLaine was seen with reddish spots on her face and a noticeably more delicate frame.

The sighting took place in March while she was having a late lunch and glass of red wine with one of her caretakers at her favorite haunt, Kristy’s Malibu café, near Zuma Beach.
Despite recent concerns about her health, MacLaine remains deeply rooted in her New Age spiritual beliefs, even recently telling Jennifer Aniston that she had been her mother in a past life.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is also the older sister of Hollywood icon Warren Beatty, has long claimed a strong connection to her previous incarnations.

MacLaine was married to businessman Steve Parker – the father of her daughter, Sachi – from 1954 until their divorce in 1982, a union she later revealed had been an open marriage.
Over the years, the outspoken star has claimed to have had romantic liaisons with nearly all her leading men, with two notable exceptions: the Jacks, Nicholson and Lemmon.
She once said Nicholson ‘wasn’t my type,’ despite their on-screen chemistry, and affectionately described Lemmon as ‘like a sister to me… a darling.’
