Tiffany Salmond has slammed Big Brother Australia after a fiery ‘pretty privilege’ debate saw housemate Holly bullied online.
On Wednesday, 31-year-old model Holly revealed she did not believe in the concept of ‘pretty privilege’, adding that she was previously ‘over-sexualised’ and called ‘stuck-up’ because of the way she looks.
The comments saw her bullied and ridiculed both online and in the house – treatment that former NRL presenter Tiffany called out online in a TikTok video uploaded last week.
Now, the 27-year-old sports commentator has taken to her Instagram Stories to double down on her argument and criticise Big Brother for the handling of the situation after Holly’s sister expressed concern.
‘Holly’s sister left this comment on my TikTok, and she’s given me permission to share it here,’ Tiffany wrote over a pink background.
The screenshot read: ‘I hope you’ve seen the ongoing bullying of Holly (my sister) on their livestream.

‘Big Brother is allowing disgusting comments and has muted me from commenting at all,’ the sister added.
‘Additionally, the men on the show are literally DANGEROUS when it comes to Holly in my opinion.’
Responding to the comment, Tiffany called out the treatment of Holly and her sister, adding that she couldn’t imagine what it must be like watching a family member be turned into a ‘national villain’.
‘Ridiculed, bullied and met with hostility for simply existing with beauty and confidence,’ she said.
‘This is what it looks like when a woman has no one protecting her, and the public turns on her for not dimming herself.’
Tiffany also slammed the ‘gross’ way the Big Brother participants spoke about Holly in the house behind her back.
‘If you’ve watched the 24/7 live feed, you’ve seen how the housemates – especially some of the men – speak about her when they think no one’s listening. It’s gross,’ she said.
Daily Mail has approached Channel Ten for comment.

The Channel Ten series erupted on Wednesday night as housemates Holly and Abiola clashed in a fiery debate, after Holly said she didn’t believe in ‘pretty privilege’.
Disagreeing with Holly’s sentiment, Abiola shot back with: ‘Yeah, but I’d rather that than people not give me the time of day because they think I’m gross.’
‘You guys live an easier life,’ she added. ‘People don’t think you’re disgusting, do you know what I’m saying?’
Holly replied: ‘I can’t relate to that. People have called me stuck up. I’ve been sexualised.’
Abiola shot back, ‘I’d rather be sexualised than people not want to even look at me,’ to which Holly replied: ‘Do you think it’s fun being sexualised?’
Replying that she didn’t, Abiola continued: ‘But I’m a black woman and I’ve also been sexualised, too. I’d rather people think I’m stuck up, sexualised, than people think I’m gross and not give me the time of day.’
Clearly angry over the exchange, Abiola took herself away from the table, telling the group: ‘I’m actually getting a bit fired up. I’m getting p***ed off.’
She retired inside, breaking down in tears as she was consoled by fellow housemate Allana.
