In an unlikely turn of events, Keith Urban performed a cover of Chappell Roan’s LGBTQ anthem Pink Pony Club at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort on Saturday.
Urban, 58, took the stage during a function that Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, 65, had been hosting, according to the outlet Them.
The outlet pointed to footage circulating on social media that showed Pratt and President Trump sitting alongside one another at the Florida resort.
Pratt has said he will put $5 billion to help American commerce, and past was a donor for $10 million to Trump’s reelection campaign last year.
The Grammy-winning singer has been in the headlines since his shock split with Nicole Kidman, 58, after 19 years of marriage was announced in late September.
The country music star and Kidman are parents to daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.Â

Urban also performed a cover of the 1978 Bob Marley classic Is This Love at Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida resort on Saturday.
Urban has added Pink Pony Club into his live set list as of late, two years after Roan, 27, put it on her 2023 album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
Pink Pony Club was initially released at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and then re-released three years later on Roan’s record.Â
Roan performed it earlier this year at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The track tells the story of a singer making friends at a gay bar in West Hollywood, California.
‘When I heard that song, I just almost cried,’ Urban told the Canadian Internet broadcast Intimate and Interactive this past April, Them reported.
Urban said he was emotionally moved by the song’s message of acceptance and community.
‘Who doesn’t wanna find a safe place, wherever that is?’ Urban said. ‘You just wanna find your people – doesn’t matter what that is, just somewhere where you finally realize you belong there. God, that speaks to me.’

Urban had past been asked if he would perform for Trump at the White House in 2017, Them reported.
He said at the time: I’ support supporting our country as a citizen. I would like to probably answer that question when it comes up. But I’m a citizen, and I like to do what’s right.’
A source previously opened up to the Daily Mail about the problems that formed in Urban’s marriage to Kidman.
‘Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour,’ the source said. ‘There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce, but there is a world that they both live where neither of them are in it.
‘Keith and Nicole have been together for decades and there is a world which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, it is not a couple.’
Urban is slated to perform at Wednesday evening’s CMA Awards, which will be broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 8/7c on ABC and Hulu.
