Uninvited Man in Neon Board Shorts Causes Stir at Balenciaga Show

Fashion enthusiasts have been scratching their heads over a man who attended Paris Fashion Week in very casual attire.

Videos from the Balenciaga Haute couture runway show on Wednesday display the man wearing neon orange running shorts, a grey T-shirt and matching grey-orange socks with trainers as he sat in the front row amongst several major stars.

As he watched several models showcase the label’s latest looks, the man sat relaxed in his seat while manspreading his legs wide open and crossing his arms. 

He received several awkward glances by other attendees who appeared horrified by his shock look at the high-end designer show.

Several fashionistas took to social media to critique the guest, who is actually a world-famous industry name.

‘Dude wearing neon-orange shortpants?’ one user wrote alongside laugh-crying emojis.

‘All I see is the dude who jogged over for the show in his orange shorts,’ another joked. 

The man in question is none other than renowned German fashion photographer Juergen Teller, who is known for his unique portraits.

He has shot big name models like Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen, and collaborated with brands like Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood and Marc Jacobs.

Teller was sitting next to his wife, Dovile Drizyte, who is also and artist and his creative partner.

She was seen wearing a T-shirt with a breast outline printed across the front and denim shorts.

The pair were also photographed together at the Chanel Fall 2024 Couture show on Tuesday, with Teller wearing the exact same outfit.

One week prior, he was seen in the same shorts and socks combo at Naomi Campbell’s A Midsummer Night at NYX Mayfair in London.

The photographer instead paired his outfit with a bright pink crewneck jumper.

Sitting next to Drizyte at the Balenciaga show was Alexis Stone, who pulled off her most-eye catching look yet.

The drag queen transformed into The Devil Wears Prada battleaxe Miranda Priestly for the runway show.

The renowned British drag artist and makeup artist, whose real name is Elliot Rentz, turned heads with her eery likeness to the famous character, which was played by Meryl Streep in the 2008 film.
