MasterChef star Andy Allen is expecting his first child with wife Alex.
The reality TV star, 37, shared the exciting news to social media on Monday night alongside a gallery of images in a park.
One photo showed the happy couple embracing as Andy gazed lovingly at Alex’s growing baby bump.
Another picture captured the pair beaming brightly as they gazed into the distance, while Alex tenderly cradled her growing belly.
‘We’ve been cooking up something pretty special… Welcoming a little duckling in April!’ Andy captioned the carousel.
He also shared a photo of a smiling Alex putting together a baby pram and captioned it with some telling words: ‘And so it begins’.

His page was quickly flooded with well wishes from his celebrity friends.
‘Eeeeeeeep this is amazing news. Congrats you guys!!!!’ gushed fellow celebrity chef Poh Ling Yeow.
‘Cats out of the bag! So excited for you both, and for another Allen,’ wrote Ava, the daughter of Andy’s late former co-star Jock Zonfrillo.
‘Ohhhh yay!!!! So happy for you guys xx,’ added TV presenter Liz Cantor.
‘Yayyyyyyyyy we can’t wait to meet you little duckling,’ Nikki Westcott chipped in.
In June, Andy revealed his plans to expand his family.
The Australian cook told The Daily Telegraph his wife and family were the most important people in his life.
‘My family and my wife [are very important]. I’m hoping one day I’ll have a family of my own with Alex, which will be nice,’ he said.

Andy also revealed a secret detail on his wedding band while discussing one fact no one knows about him.
‘People would never know I wear a clip-on wedding ring,’ he revealed.
Andy and Alex tied the knot in October 2022.
The lovebirds said their vows in front of all their celebrity friends as they got married in a glamorous tent outside the Terrara House.
Some guests included Magdalena Roze and husband Darren Robertson, Melissa Leong and former Bachelor alum Cat Henesey-Smith.
