Kirsten Dunst channeled her inner hippie while purchasing a $39.99 eight-pack of Recess, sparkling water infused with hemp and adaptogens, at a CBD store in Studio City on Wednesday.
Each 12oz can of the craft mocktail contains 10mg of hemp-derived CBD and 15-30 calories, but absolutely no THC (the marijuana compound that gets you high).
The 41-year-old Oscar nominee – who also stopped for coffee – was dressed down in a blue-and-purple tie-dye T-shirt beneath a brown-knit cardigan, light-blue jeans, and preppy white Keds shoes.
On Halloween night, Kirsten and her husband of 16 months – Killers of the Flower Moon star Jesse Plemons – donned skeleton and cowboy costumes wit grisly make-up to go trick-or-treating in their neighborhood.
The Power of the Dog co-stars brought along their two-year-old son James Robert, also dressed as a skeleton, and their five-year-old son Ennis Howard.
Dunst was technically still dating her On the Road leading man Garrett Hedlund when she originally began working with the 35-year-old Oscar nominee on the Calgary set of FX’s Fargo in 2015.
‘We fell in love creatively first,’ the New Jersey-born blonde gushed to the LA Times in 2021.
‘He was like a creative soul mate to me and the way we both work. On Fargo, I knew after two weeks. I didn’t remember saying this, but one of my best friends told me that I said to her that “I will know this man for the rest of my life. I just know it.” Just because I felt such an immediate connection.’
Kirsten’s next film – Alex Garland’s sci-fi action epic Civil War – will have its highly-anticipated launch at the American Film Market, which runs through next Sunday at Le Méridien Delfina in Santa Monica.
Dunst co-starred in Civil War with Cailee Spaeny, whom she personally recommended to Sofia Coppola to play the role of Priscilla Presley in her newly-released, fully-authorized biopic.
‘Kirsten’s amazing,’ the 25-year-old starlet gushed to IndieWire last month.
‘She definitely put in a good word for me, which I don’t think hurt during the casting process. She also filmed Marie Antoinette [with Sofia] when she was 23 and I did Priscilla when I was 24. So it was sort of two words colliding, very full circle. It was a really incredible way to get this role.’
Dunst also keeps busy running clothing company Observed By Us with illustrator Jessica Herschko, and they officially launched their Coach collaboration during a Sunset Tower Hotel soirée in West Hollywood on July 12.

Meanwhile, Jesse has upcoming roles in Yorgos Lanthimos’ AND for Searchlight Pictures as well as Lesli Linka Glatter’s six-episode conspiracy thriller Zero Day for Netflix.
‘As soon as there’s a script or a potential project that we’re deciding whether or not to do, we’re usually just pestering the other one to read the script so they can give their input,’ Plemons explained to EW on April 27.
‘I respect her opinion so much, and so I’m always curious to know what she thinks. She’s very, very smart and just has such great instincts and taste. I would say almost everything, we’re talking it out with each other.’
