A beloved Gogglebox couple looked unrecognisable in a heartwarming picture from their youth which they shared on Saturday.
The couple were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary together as they posted the throwback image to Instagram.
Posing for the picture together, the handsome man wore a pink shirt with palm trees on it while his partner looked radiant in a white blouse with a plunging neckline.
TheyĀ have been on the Channel 4 series since 2015,Ā making them one of the show’s longest-running couples.Ā

The couple,Ā who are from Caerphilly in Wales, have become huge fan favourites with their top banter and hilarious comments about the TV shows that they are watching.Ā
C4 also took to their Instagram to celebrate the pair, who have not forgotten the romance after their decades together.
The channel posted the throwback image alongside a video of Dave talking to Shirley about his plants, with the caption: ‘How it startedā¦ how itās going.
‘Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary.’
In the sweet clip Shirley asks Dave ‘what are you doing there, love?’ to which he replied: ‘Putting blankets over my plants to keep them warm.’
Shirley then said ‘where’s mine then?’Ā
And David sweetly said: ‘You don’t need a blanket, Shirl.’
He added: ‘You got me, I’ll keep you warm. Don’t worry about that.’Ā Ā
