Nick Knowles has hit back at a fat shamer after he was attacked over his appearance on a Children In Need special last week.
The TV star, 63, appeared on a DIY SOS special to help overhaul the building for a childhood cancer charity, yet one viewer shared an image from the show and joked: ‘Nick Knowles ate Pudsey!’, regarding the Children In Need teddy bear mascot.
Following on from her message, Nick revealed he reported the social media user to her employers after she was caught trolling his wife Katie during her illness, which saw her suffering life-threatening complications following a hysterectomy at 35.
The presenter penned: ‘I know you – you were trolling my wife when she was ill…
‘We reported you to your employer now you’ve watched a show about building a place for a children’s cancer charity & decided to go for me being heavy Do you think maybe you should get some counselling about this obsession?’

Nick and his team left viewers in tears as scenes aired showing the embarking on one of their most challenging builds to date – overhauling facilities at The Joshua Tree, a charity offering bespoke support to children battling cancer and their families.
The scenes showed how they made the changes at the Cheshire headquarters, in an amazing 12-day turnaround, in which they expanded the premises to accommodate more families across the nation requiring assistance.

While many praised the star for his hard work, he was in fact targeted by the troll, to whom he hit back before being joined by a host of fans.
He detailed his history with the troll, as he alleged she had targeted Katie when she underwent a hysterectomy in July, after ‘surviving’ years of ‘pain’.
She previously revealed her battle to social media followers, detailing how she had lived most of her life through almost unbearable pain which left her ‘vomiting, curled up in bed and missing out on life’, before undergoing the invasive procedure.

Katie, began dating her spouse in 2021, hit back at those dubbing her a ‘gold digger’, revealing they don’t get to her as much as they used to because she and Nick know it’s not true.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, she said of their age gap: ”I think at the start, it was probably more irritating, especially for my family. But now those comments kind of just pass over me because we both know it’s not true.
Katie stressed: ‘Nick works hard, he has what he has. I work hard, I have what I have and then we buy each other stuff.’
