Jason Roses Unveils New Look and Shares Inspiring Glow-Up Story!

A former Big Brother star has opened up about the decade-long struggle with self-confidence that pushed him to completely reinvent himself.

Jason Roses, who appeared on the Channel 10 show in 2014, told Daily Mail he spent years battling insecurities about his weight, teeth and appearance before finally taking control of his life.

‘Believe it or not, I was not that confident growing up,’ he said. 

‘I had not great teeth, my nose had been broken in a martial arts accident and I was always a bit self conscious.’

Those insecurities intensified after he exited the Big Brother house.

‘When I got out of Big Brother, something I kept secret was that my partner at the time had cheated on me,’ he revealed.

The discovery became a turning point and pushed Jason to overhaul every part of his physical and emotional wellbeing.

Over several years he lost between 30 and 40 kilos, had a nose job, changed his lifestyle and recently travelled to Istanbul for veneers after researching clinics online.

‘All of these little nip and tucks I have had make me feel confident. I feel beautiful,’ he said. 

‘Now I am the most confident I have ever been.’

He said his experience is why he openly supports cosmetic enhancements when they are done safely.

‘If you want a little bit of surgery or additions done, I am all for it. Do your research, but there is nothing wrong with that.’

Jason said he is especially proud of his new teeth. 

‘I did not want to come back with Turkey teeth. The place I went to really impressed me. I wanted a refreshed look.’

Despite feeling better than he ever has, Jason said he remains ‘desperately single’. It has been four years since his last relationship.

‘I do not want to rush into the next relationship just for the sake of saying I am in one,’ he said.

‘I want to have the right energy. I want to be the best version of myself before I share my life with someone. There has been no one where we have both connected.’

Jason has also been watching the new reboot of Big Brother and said he is happy the series has returned to a more traditional feel.

‘I am loving the reboot. I am glad they brought back a little bit of the OG because that is what was missing for so long,’ he said.

Jason has turned his long battle with confidence into a business. 

‘When I was in school my friends would joke about my breath and it made me very self conscious,’ he said. 

That insecurity quietly grew into an idea. 

The result is his new oral care brand Zing, which has launched with three flavoured mouthwashes. Toothpaste will roll out in the coming weeks.
