I’m A Celebrity fans have been left furious as ITV bosses overhauled a popular aspect of the long-running reality show.
The series returned on Sunday night for its 25th series with Geordie duo Ant and Dec presenting live from Brisbane, Australia.
However, just minutes into the show fans were devastated to discover its iconic opening titles had been overhauled.
Before the change, the famous faces appearing on the show were introduced on gigantic letters being lowered into the jungle by helicopters.
Now, the titles show the celebrities inside falling stars as they land in different areas of the jungle in a nod to their value when it comes to trials.
It’s the first time in almost 20 years the graphics have been updated, with viewers noticing how the helicopters from the iconic sequence have been axed.Â

Taking to social media, one fan raged: ‘Woah woah woah why have they changed the intro titles, where are the helicopters.’
A second fumed: ‘Editors, sort out this dross and bring the classic titles back for tomorrow or there will be an issue.’
‘ITV need to bring back the old titles like I’m so serious. i want the helicopters, the celebs in the letters. it didn’t need to change,’ said a third.
While a fourth posted: ‘The new titles look like someone just used the slide up effect in windows movie maker.’Â
Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi, Shona McGarty, Ruby Wax, Angry Ginge, Alex Scott, Aitch, Lisa Riley and Jack Osbourne have gone Down Under in a bid to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
After landing with a bump on the beach, the celebrities soon learned they had to battle it out for two coveted seats in the Getaway car – the fastest, most direct route to camp which awards them the comfiest beds in camp and steak for dinner.
The Getaway car also allowed the two stars to enter the jungle in luxury with cocktails and canapés.
After wading through offal and slime to unlock the key fob, Aitch and Eddie secured the keys.Â

But the road into the jungle wasn’t easy and after losing their first challenge Kelly, Martin and Shona, joined Alex Scott, Jack Osbourne, Ruby Wax, AngryGinge and Lisa Riley as they were forced to travel in the back of the Cockie van.
The team were tasked with unlocking to retrieve stars for camp but in true I’m A Celeb style they faced thousands of critters and snakes crawling over the heads.
Alex squealed: ‘They’re all down my bloody bra!’ while Kelly screamed: ‘Oh my god, they’re biting my t***!’
Jack and AngryGinge were the fastest to unscrew the bolts and so headed for cocktails at the Getaway car.
I’m A Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITVX.Â
