She added a pair of burgundy velvet evening gloves for added glamour, and sported a Artists for Ceasefire pin –  a creatives-led initiative demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.

Nicola posed up a storm for the cameras, before warmly embracing her co-star Luke, with the onscreen couple holding hands on the red carpet.

Luke also pulled out all the stops for the event, putting on a very fashion forward display in a black woven co-ord.

He donned a futuristic blazer-style jacket, with pockets and zip detailing and decorated with embroidered flowers on the shoulders and sleeves.

He teamed it with a pair of coordinating oversized trousers and went shirtless underneath, allowing a glimpse at his toned chest.

Luke completed his dashing look with artfully gelled hair and a pair of shiny black boots, adorned with more silver flowers.

He graciously stopped to chat to the huge crowd of adoring fans and handed out a slew of autographs, signing copies of the book season three was based on, Romancing Mr Bridgerton by Julia Quinn.

The second half of Bridgerton’s hotly anticipated third season is set for release on Thursday, with fans eager to see what happens next in Penelope and Colin’s love story.

Viewers can expect things to get even more steamy between the pair, with Nicola and Luke previously revealing that they filmed so many romps that by the end they were comfortable lounging around together naked between takes.

In the first four episodes of series three, there was six minutes of kissing, sex, threesomes and lesbian love-making.

It was a jump from the lack of steamy scenes in the second series, which included just a meagre three minutes of bedroom action amid eight hours and 29 minutes of screen time.

Nicola previously revealed: ‘I think we’ve won the sauciness for this series!’ as she detailed the sex scenes.

She teased what fans can expect to see, telling Entertainment Weekly: ‘We did break a piece of furniture while doing one scene. It’s a little bit like a stunt in which they’re like, ‘Okay, we’re gonna do this, this, and this.

‘But then they gave us freedom and we had a lot of say in how we did those scenes and what we wanted to do. That makes you feel quite empowered. So, we felt super. They were actually really enjoyable. I didn’t think they would be. It was fun.’

The pair recently revealed that the famous carriage scene that ended the first half of series three, took two days to film.

Appearing on the One Show on Wednesday, the duo spilled the beans on their now-infamous intimate scene to Jermaine Jenas and Lauren Laverne.

Jermaine asked: ‘I hear the filming of the scene took a bit longer than they expected, apparently?’

Luke answered: ‘Yeah, absolutely. For a five-minute scene, I think it took us two days’ and an amused Nicola cut in: ‘That’s not what he means.’

Taking over, Nicola explained: ‘Basically, we were filming it and we were really enclosed in this carriage on a sound studio and there was four burly dudes…

‘So, we were filming the scene, and it was intimate, and we knew that there were certain points we had to hit, but then, we were doing the kissing, and [the director’s] not calling “Cut.”

‘In my head I was going: “This is really long, this feels really long.” We kept going, but eventually I was like: “This is crazy”, so I stopped and said: “Oh, we’re at Bridgerton house!”

‘So, then it ended, and the set was dead silent, and I think: “What is going on?” And then the director comes over to the window of the carriage, and he was like: “What were you doing?’

‘And we were like “What?” And he was like: “I was shouting: ‘Cut! Stop!'” We genuinely couldn’t hear anything. It was like soundproof.’

Part One of season three dropped last month, with eager fans wasting no time in settling down to devour the latest antics of the Regency-era romantics.

And the series seems to be better than ever, as according to What’s On Netflix, it pulled in a shocking 45.1 million views within just four days of arriving on Netflix.

The season focuses on the long-awaited romance between Penelope and Colin, but the plotline of the best friends realising their true feelings proved to be a slow burner.

Part One ended on a steamy cliffhanger as after being unable to think of anyone else, Colin eventually declares his love for Penelope in a carriage after she was left heartbroken by Lord Debling.

During the encounter at the end of the fourth episode, Penelope admits that she’d ‘very much like to be more than friends’ with Colin, and the pair eventually kiss, going on to share quite a steamy scene together.

But just as they’re getting into it, they arrive at the Bridgerton house, and after Colin fixes Penelope’s dress and hair, he steps down from the carriage and puts out his hand to Penelope to ask whether she’s coming with him.

The show was then left on a cliffhanger, as Colin hit fans with the iconic line from the Romancing Mister Bridgerton novel: ‘For God’s sake, Penelope Featherington, are you going to marry me or not?’
