Tom Cruise put on a brave face as he posed for snaps with pals including Jennifer Hudson following his split from Ana De Armas.
The Mission Impossible actor, 63, was snapped on Sunday with American actress and dancer Debbie Allen at her studio in Los Angeles.
He looked dapper in a black suit and shirt as they had a small party before the Oscar’s Governor’s awards which take place tomorrow.
Friends and family of Tom, Jennifer, 44, and Debbie also attended the studio.
Tom’s outing comes weeks after the end of his nine-month romance to ex-girlfriend Ana De Armas.
They were last seen publicly together in July looking besotted with each other as they went official with their romance.

At the time, the two were snapped hand-in-hand as they whisked themselves off on a romantic weekend to Woodstock, Vermont.
News of their split broke last month.
A source close to the pair told The Sun: ‘Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course.
‘They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realized they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.
‘The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it. She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.’
Close to the same time as their split, Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman split from her husband Keith Urban.
Earlier this month Tom was spotted for the first time since their breakup, which is believed to have been instigated by Ana.
He was snapped in London as he greeted staff at a helipad in the capital with smiles and waves.

Tom was later spotted as he managed to chopper in to Scientology’s UK headquarters for the controversial church’s annual fundraiser.
He arrived into Saint Hill Manor, the church’s British Base in East Grinstead in Sussex, to take part in the three day-event amid protests over the sect’s contentious practices.
In exclusive pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Cruise is spotted wearing an aviation headset as he lands.
He avoided crowds of protesters who were taking part in a demonstration against the event, which drew 7,000 Scientologists from across the globe, as it was held for the third consecutive year.
In a bid to disrupt the protesters, the church played loud bagpipe music on a large speaker.
