With that cutting barb, Sydney vlogger Elle Salagaras publicly declared the dramatic end of her decade-long friendship with lawyer Carla-Rose Brett – sparking a feud that’s now the talk of the influencer gossip sphere.
And the Daily Mail can reveal it was no ordinary falling-out.
Their rift stems from a lavish ‘Barbie Dream House’-themed hens weekend that was hosted by bride-to-be Carla-Rose roughly three weeks ago.
In addition to Elle, guests included Carla-Rose’s sisters and several close friends.
While Elle has offered only hints about what drove them apart, the fallout was so severe that Elle was dropped as a bridesmaid and cut from the wedding guest list entirely.

The messy saga might have stayed private – if Elle hadn’t aired their dirty laundry to her 14,000 Instagram followers.Â
On the afternoon of November 3, Elle posted a reel of herself dancing in a bikini beside a blonde woman – likely Carla-Rose – paired with her aforementioned pointed caption about being the ‘villain’ in her story.Â
Several followers took the bait and asked why Elle would pair such a provocative caption with a light-hearted video from Carla-Rose’s bachelorette weekend.
Elle didn’t leave them guessing, replying to one curious follower:Â
‘Got uninvited from the wedding (as a bridesmaid) in a TEXT after she let me fund her whole hens weekend, business class flights etc. made it as special as possible for her, [because] our “values don’t align” and then refused to even have a conversation after 10+ years of friendship.’
The comment has since been deleted.Â
The exact reason for their supposed misalignment of values remains unclear, though it would seem something catastrophic happened at last month’s hens.
And as the bride readied herself for the big day over the weekend, it was clear tensions were still running high.

On Sunday, as Carla-Rose sat down for a bridal lunch at harbourside restaurant Alegre on King Street Wharf, Elle posted a meme on Instagram that read: ‘Those… who talk about you, are jealous of you.’
We contacted Carla-Rose last week to ask if she had anything to say about the rift, and received a polite ‘no comment’.Â
Elle also wouldn’t speak on the feud.
Both women appear to have unfollowed each other on Instagram since the falling-out.
Whatever went down between these two, one thing’s obvious: Elle won’t be catching the bouquet.
This isn’t the first time Elle has fallen out with a friend.
Back in March, we reported on her feud with fellow influencer Cindy Kilian (aka ‘RegardingCindy’), which was sparked by an argument at a restaurant.
The story we heard was that Elle had shared a traumatic story relating to a particular venue. As a result of the alleged incident, her friends refused to go there anymore.Â
But when Cindy heard about this, she indicated she would continue to visit the venue.
This was apparently the final straw for their friendship.Â
‘She literally just starts saying, “I’m still going to go there”,’Â Elle claimed in an episode of her podcast.
‘It was so outrageous.’
Cindy would later confirm some details from Elle’s podcast in a social media video, but insisted the matter had been blown out of proportion.
She maintained the restaurant row ‘wasn’t that dramatic’, before adding: ‘You’re not going to tell a grown-ass woman where she can and cannot go.
‘I would never ask that of my friends.’
