Married at First Sight’s Adrian Araouzou Charged With Driving on Suspended License

Married at First Sight’s Adrian Araouzou Charged With Driving on Suspended License

Married At First Sight groom Adrian Araouzou is set to face a Sydney court later this month after being charged with driving while his licence was suspended.

The 31-year-old is due to appear in Burwood Local Court to answer the charge, which comes on the heels of a string of past allegations and public controversies.

A Daily Telegraph report revealed the matter this week, noting Araouzou has not yet entered a plea.

Araouzou has consistently denied the allegations he declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail.

The publication also detailed previous domestic violence-related charges dating back to 2020, which were dismissed in 2021.

The former groom, who appeared on the latest season of the Nine series, has made headlines repeatedly since filming wrapped.

His new court date also comes months after he was abruptly dropped by Roxy Jacenko’s Ministry of Talent, despite being announced as a new signing only days earlier.

Araouzou sparked rumours he had parted ways with the public relations titan when he removed Ministry of Talent from his TikTok bio.

The reality star also no longer appears on Ministry Of Talent’s website.

‘There are no hard feelings. I understand what it is,’ he told Yahoo Lifestyle in May.

He earlier told the publication that he wanted to move on from the show that made him famous.

‘I plan on dissociating anything to do with MAFS,’ he said.

‘I enjoy creating content, so I’ll continue to keep on doing that just like I was doing before the show.

‘I have other business ventures that I would like to explore and see where life takes me. I am an open book right now.’

He also denied claims he cheated on his TV bride, Awhina Rutene, while filming the Channel Nine dating show.

Araouzou told Daily Mail that he didn’t have sex with another woman while on the show after Awhina accused him of leaving their apartment to spend time with another female.

‘Absolutely not. As if I would need to go have sex with someone in that space of filming,’ he said.

‘I was out for a mate’s birthday and went past mine to grab a few things then went back to the apartment,’ he explained.

He claimed Awhina had also been invited to join him but decided to spend time with fellow bride Beth Kelly instead.
