Margot Robbie looked every inch the glamorous movie star as she stepped out for a rare date night with husband Tom Ackerley in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
The Barbie actress, 35 — who welcomed a son with Ackerley in October 2024 — went full bombshell in a black jacket worn as a dress, putting her impossibly long legs on full display.Â
Rocking nothing but the tailored blazer and sky-high heels, Robbie looked like she was strutting a red carpet instead of heading to dinner.
With her hair left long and flowing and a chic designer bag on her arm, she exuded effortless Hollywood polish.Â
Ackerley walked beside her in a cream sweater and gray slacks, keeping things low-key as his wife stole the spotlight.
Robbie appeared to be in high spirits — fitting, since the trailer for her hotly anticipated film Wuthering Heights, co-starring Jacob Elordi, dropped Friday.

The pair smolder as star-crossed lovers Catherine and Heathcliff in the intense new teaser for Emerald Fennell’s bold reimagining of the Emily Brontë classic.
Set to Charli XCX’s haunting track Chains of Love, the trailer teases a dark, modern, and wildly cinematic take on the 19th-century novel. The film is slated to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day.
The $70 million production, shot back in January, also stars Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell — with original music from Charli XCX.
Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, published in 1850, remains one of English literature’s defining masterpieces.
Several film adaptations of the novel exist, most famously the 1939 version directed by William Wyler with Merle Oberon and Laurence Olivier.Â
The latest adaptation is Andrea Arnold’s 2011 film starring Kaya Scodelario and James Howson.Â
Robbie’s loved-up outing with Ackerley also comes on the heels of her first comments about motherhood, calling becoming a mom ‘the best’ in an October interview.Â
‘It’s like, [when] you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it, and if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear,’ she said.

‘So, it’s kind of like, “It’s the best,” you know?’ the actress added.
Robbie’s pregnancy was made public in July 2024, and the couple enjoyed a romantic ‘babymoon’ to Sardinia, Italy, at the end of August.
The couple welcomed their son in October, and have yet to reveal their child’s name.
They got married in 2016 and are co-producers on a number of projects, including Hulu’s Dollface, through their production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
The Beverly Hills date also comes after she opened up about experiencing imposter syndrome in Hollywood, fearing her film career could be ‘taken away’ at any moment.
The Aussie actress, who made her movie debut in The Wolf of Wall Street at the young age of 22, made the candid confession in an interview published by The Mirror.
Speaking to the publication about her success in Tinsel Town, Robbie admitted that she was aware that her time on the screen could come crashing down in the blink of an eye. Â
‘Is there a moment where I thought it was all sorted now? No, I think every time I’m like, “Oh, God, it’s all going to be taken away, I won’t get to do this again, this is the last time”,’ she revealed.Â

‘I have this complete crisis of faith every time, “What am I doing?” I freak out every time. I care so much, for sure.’
Additionally, the star revealed that her fear of being booted by Hollywood has led her to steer away from using her native accent in films.Â
When the actress was offered the opportunity to use an Aussie accent for her latest project, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, she politely declined.Â
‘I haven’t done it since Neighbours and now I feel like I use accents to kind of hide myself in a character. There will be a day, and I think I’m getting close to it. I did contemplate it for a second and then thought, “Oh, it’s too much”.’
However, Robbie suffered a huge career blow after A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, flopped during its opening weekend at the box office.
The Australian actress and Colin Farrell’s romance drama pulled in just $3.5million (AU$5.3million) during its opening weekend in the US and $8million (AU$12million) globally — a far cry from its reported $50million (AU$76million) budget.
The numbers placed the film in sixth at the US box office, well behind the competition, including Him and Demon Slayer.
In another blow, the movie also bombed with critics, and currently holds a 37 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with many reviews citing ’empty storytelling’ as its major flaw.
However, several praised the performances of Robbie and Farrell, whose undeniable chemistry and charisma weren’t enough to rescue the Sony Pictures release.
It marks one of the lowest openings of Robbie’s US career, edging below her previous flops, Babylon (US$3.6million) and Amsterdam (US$6.4million).
